Platinum??



So yeah, completing a platinum with a rank 5, level 20 Turian Agent carrying a rank 1 Sovoa and level 1 cyclonic mod and I think incendiary rounds is a thing. And hey, the only non rank XX in the game and I didn't get last.

EDIT: Then I tried a solo silver on firebase zero with him and well, I failed the wave 6 hack with about half the meter full. I was so close lol. The sovoa really is awesome.

...jaws on platinum/sandstorm. Our "saving angel", Avenger got a client crash on wave 4 I think, and was replaced by Scathane who operated his patented Juggz like a champ, helping us to the victory. Before that the PUGs got downed in serial by group of 3 berserkers and 2 adhi's. Damn it was hard even for my barbie Juggz+Cyclonic IV to try to go there and revive. Overall, good game in the end, we made it

After that RNGesus gave me ... PAW Siphon I OOOooooOOOOoooOOOooo... so I'm gonna run with that as 1st weapon, then normal PAW as 2nd. LET THE BEAMZ BEGIN

This past week it seems I'm getting a friend request everyday. I tend to bump into the same people a lot while playing but I've made three new friends and I went ahead and accepted.



And now a bonus 'last pug word' from about an hour ago: Host migration

...so I searched for the silver apex on zero tonight and landed in a lobby with the guy who hates me (his name is MoparMadness or something) and his buddy again. The game was in progress and there was a third player this time (another regular I bump into occasionally who is very good) Anyways, I join with ponytail adept and the game is still loading apparently and they don't see me coming in. It took a while to load in on my end for some reason but I finally take control of my character and I'm totally surrounded at the LZ and it's only about 20 seconds into wave 1. The host and his buddy are already camping the back area which I knew they would do cuz they're scrubs and the third player is running around actually killing enemies with their ponytail. Once I clear the LZ, I try to join in on the fun with the third player and suddenly the screen turns black and the host migration loading screen comes up. I start laughing my ass off because apparently the host hates me so much that he'd rather quit the match instead of putting up with me (and again, I never did anything but play the game lol.) So the game restarts, the host's buddy is still there surprisingly, the other ponytail, and a fourth randoms has joined in. As soon as we start running around to take our positions, literally about 10 seconds after the game started, another host migration comes up. Apparently the guy's buddy was the host the second time but decided not to play with us. Three times a charm! We finish the match this time and got full extraction and MF's! Hurray!!!

Some people just really hate people who run all over the map. When you're a camper it can be annoying because it doesn't let many enemies get to your dug in position. I really don't like it much either. But I'd never quit a match because of it. What an idiot!

I've just sat at the back killing the occasional wraith for all 7 waves, collected my free credits, and backed out to join a different room or start one.

I think it's just leftover from the days of Gears of War since that was the first horde mode type of game I played. If you ran out alone, sure you could kill stuff, but there were no self revives, only teammates could revive you and you could also be "gibbed" (blown apart in one shot and could not be revived from that). The key was staying together and working as a team. 

In mass effect, when people are just doing their own thing, it doesn't feel like a team or APEX squad or whatever, it just feels like there's no point in playing it with other people. Like I could do that same thing by myself. lol

Idk, different strokes and what not.


(and yeah, I always help on objective waves... and frequently have to do them myself because of the players just running around killing stuff lol)

When playing with most elitez here who have discord we have used tactics, the minimum is to say to which upload one goes. Tanking the hack, so to say, on platinum really needs to have a good teamwork done. Not even communication is needed if all players know their place and skills and what to do.

Kicked

Joined a silver/remnant/zero game in progress with a bunch of low level/apex players. I was using the huntress with the venom and figured I'd lend a hand. I get into the match and a couple of them are trying to camp the landing but are getting killed a lot. This continues throughout the match. I ended up topping score real fast which isn't really a surprise. Wave 6 delivery starts and only me and one other player are attempting to do the objectives. The other two boogers are still trying to camp the landing but eventually get driven out by two destroyers. Anyways, wave completed and then I notice all three players are shooting at me. I just figured they were being goofy but it turns out they were mad at me for some reason. Extraction wave starts and at around the 45 second mark I get kicked from the game. I can only think two possible reasons for this: 1. they were mad I outscored them or 2. they planned on doing it anyway as a stupid prank. It was only silver so I was only mildly annoyed and a bit amused.

Moral of the story: I hate in game kick in general and it never should have been in this game.



Other than that incident there really wasn't much else worthy of note. Did have some really good games today overall
