Entire console generations of games have slipped past me. Though the best ninja style character in MEMP is N7 shadow. You NEED to try it!

You NEED to try it! probably one of the most fun characters in mp and pretty OP. i remember that they can almost onehit banshees on gold the MP in ME3 was actually pretty cool in terms of gameplay of the characters, except for the basic humans each character had its nice own playstyle that you just couldnt get with shepard. there are still enough people playing the ME3MP if you guys want to give it a try

I always loved the class as well, but the only thing is that it always felt right to me with the risk vs. reward when going in for a kill, especially with some of the bigger stuff. The ability to sync kill you was always on my mind. Against smaller stuff the only thing that really got me was the fact that sometimes it'd just bug out. I'd be hitting biotic charge while doing ring around the rosies with them, and it'd never charge.

Yeah, that bug sucked...hopefully some similar bug won't be present in Andromeda, otherwise it's sword infiltrator for me

swords...swords make everything better Doesn't matter if it's sword wielding vanguard, infiltrator or engineer, if it has sword it's significantly more awesome (and I really don't care that swords in this setting "don't make sense") Agreed. And I disagree with those that say swords in the setting don't make sense since you can make a good argument for why they do. If there is a good argument for why swords are plausible in the Mass Effect universe, I've yet to see it. Swords went obsolete in the 18th & 19th Centuries and advances in body armor wouldn't change that. They're only in the game because Rule of Cool, and because swords are an iconic weapon in the fantasy genre that dominates the RPG market (even though ME isn't fantasy) which in turn I suppose is part of their Rule of Cool factor. That said, I'm aware that the opinion that melee weapons like swords or war hammers don't belong in the ME universe is not a popular one. As such, I fully expect that they'll be a big part of ME:A. Besides, that ship already sailed in ME3. (Kai Leng, Phantoms, Project Phoenix, ect, ect.)

Well, since ME universe is hypothetical future setting, it pretty much boils down to opinions...I believe factors like personal shields/barriers, abilities like bio charge/tac cloak and ability to make mono-molecular blades make emergence of melee weapons plausible, you don't. (But they will be be in MEA so "Ha! Go pout! I win!" "...Joker" *glare* "Shutting up now commander.")
