Completed Priority Rannoch. Seriously F*ck admiral Gerrel. He almost doomed the quarians to extinction to satisfy his bloodlust... I love shepards Verbal beatdown at the end of the mission. " If you keep attacking I will stand and watch while the geth lay you to waste!!" Couldn't have said it better myself Shep...Hearing Gerrel submit with his tail between his legs is very satisfying. If only you could punch him again. Too bad such an ass as Gerrel is voiced by Simon Templeman who voiced Loghain in Dragon Age: Origins and Kain in the Legacy of Kain series. Yeah he's a good VA does a lot o fvoices in games did Gavin Archer in trilogy as well in the Overlord DLC

Yeah he's a good VA does a lot o fvoices in games did Gavin Archer in trilogy as well in the Overlord DLC He is a great VA his Shakespearean performance as Kain in the original Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain was some of his best work. He was great throughout that series in fact. Since you also play on console I highly suggest you check out that series. The last game in the series came out for the PS2. You can get them for cheap on GOG.com as well for PC, but aside from the original Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain the later games don't have controller support, and the keyboard controls are horrendous and you can't change them.

Finished another trilogy run.. I don't mind the ending but after so many playthroughs I find it hard to sit through starbrats monologue. I find myself just skipping the investigate dialogue just to get the scene over with as fast as possible. The actual dialogue is fine but that bratty little voice {sigh} if they had kept the exact same dialogue but replaced starbrat with a Reaper Queen.. ominously voiced by a spooky combo of Meer and Hale (like in the background of the original scene) I think it would of been leaps and bounds better.

Julie Shepard (Infiltrator, ME3 LE): 1. Delivered packages to people on the Citadel.
2. Went to Tuchanka to go cure the genophage. Took the Dalatrass's deal and convinced Padok Wiks to sabotage the cure.
3. Went to the Citadel and stopped a coup attempt by Cerberus. Convinced Ashley to stand down, then shot Udina.
4. Eavesdropped on conversations, fixed some medi-gel sabotage (hello Conrad), and convinced Balak (and the remaining Batarians) to join the war effort. Ashley decided to go join Hackett instead of the Normandy.
5. Scanned planets. Talked to some crew members in my cabin (Traynor, James, Diana Allers).
6. Destroyed an Ardat-Yakshi monastery. No survivors.
7. Back to the Citadel: - Delivered more packages. - Brokered a trade deal with Medi-gel. - Stopped some mercs from killing Din Korlak, with an assist from Zaeed. I forgot Zaeed survived the Suicide Mission. - Beat Garrus in a sniping contest. Julie Shepard is a "Marksman Sniper Infiltrator"; Garrus never stood a chance at winning. - Javik is terrible at speeches. Sorry (now-depressed) citizens. - Also talked with James, Liara, Steve Cortez, and Miranda. - Bought the Valiant sniper rifle.

I didn't do the virtual reality mission with Legion because I hate the mission, so later I had to choose between the geth and the quarians. I chose the quarians and Tali knifed Legion

I played some more Julie Shepard (Infiltrator, ME3 LE) and started the Omega DLC with the Valiant... only to wonder if I made the right purchase. So I reloaded a previous save and tried the Valiant again on the Cerberus Fighter Base mission. Then I tried the mission again with the Black Widow. Then I tried the mission again with the Viper.
At the moment, I think I prefer the Viper for most enemies, but the Valiant or Black Widow for the tougher enemies since they deal much more damage more quickly.
I will probably go back to the Valiant and restart the Omega DLC again. As much as I like this "Marksman Sniper Infiltrator" build, my favorite Infiltrator builds have nothing to do with sniping and this playthrough is continuing to prove that. I am fighting the urge to go back to a shotgun/power combo build.

Julie Shepard (Infiltrator, ME3 LE):
1. Helped Aria retake Omega. Aria strangled Petrovsky to death.
2. Met with the Quarians, helped them destroy a Geth Dreadnaught. Rescued Legion's backup. Punched Han Gerrel.
3. Destroyed some Geth jamming towers and rescued Admiral Korris.
4. Went into the Geth Concensus to shut down some servers.
5. Attacked a Geth base on Rannoch and destroyed a Reaper that was transmitting Reaper code to the Geth. The Geth were destroyed.
6. Visited Anderson's apartment. Anderson called and gifted it to Shepard. Got invited to lunch by Joker and met some Alliance clerk named Brooks. The meeting was a trap, set up by some merc group. Survived the ambush and reconvened at the apartment with the crew. Liara tracked down a casino owner that sold weapons to the merc group.
7. Attended a party at the casino. Managed to find the casino owner but he was already dead. Managed to call the person that tried to kill Shepard and they threatened each other. Went back to the apartment to regroup.

Did some more stuff over the week, getting towards the end! To: Lee Riley Re: Reporting in Captain Riley, thanks for updating me on the reactor. I'm glad my team and I were able to help. I hope you will be alright with all the Reaper forces keeping you busy. Let me know if you need backup, and I'll see what I can do. Take care, Cmd. Glenn Shepard --------------------------------------- To: Grace Sato Re: Still kicking Dear Ms. Sato, good to hear from you again. It was my pleasure to help you out at the base on Ontarom, but this wasn't my doing alone. Without the courage you displayed, everything might have played out a little differently. So thank you for aiding me in all this. Stay safe out there, Cmd. Glenn Shepard --------------------------------------- To: EDI Re: Shore Leave Activities Hey EDI, you said I should reply if I have time. I do, and if you want we can meet right away. See you in a bit, Glenn --------------------------------------- To: Kolyat Krios Re: Memorial Service Dear Kolyat, it's a nice idea to have a service for your father. I will take care of the invitations. Unfortunately, we don't have much time during our current shore leave, so let's settle for tomorrow, 11am, at my apartment (Silversun Strip, Tiberius Towers). I can provide some food afterwards for everyone. See you there, Glenn Shepard --------------------------------------- To: Samara Re: How are you? Samara, if you're still on the Citadel and have some time, can we meet up at my apartment? See you soon I hope, Glenn --------------------------------------- To: Armando Bailey, Councilor Valern, EDI, Garrus Vakarian, Jack, Jacob Taylor, Jeff Moreau, Kasumi Goto, Miranda Lawson, Samara, Tali'Zorah, Urdnot Grunt, Zaeed Massani Subject: Memorial Service Dear everyone, there will be a memorial service for Thane and I hope to see some of you at 11am tomorrow at my apartment. I know this is on short notice, but we don't have much time. I hope we can have a small get-together and pay Thane our respects. No need to inform me if you'd like to attend, just drop by if it's convenient for you. Sincerely, Glenn Shepard --------------------------------------- To: Samara Subject: Good to see you Dear Samara, it has been so lovely to spend time with you, just you and me living in the moment. I wish we had the chance to do it again. None of us will know what tomorrow might bring, but I do hope our paths will cross again, somewhere, someday. We're preparing for the final assault. I wish you were here, but understand you're needed elsewhere. I just... there's so many things I want to say to you, but there isn't time, nor do I know whether it would be appropriate. Just know you will always be important to me, no matter what happens next. Good luck out there, and don't you dare die on me. Love, Glenn Lost Thessia Went to Sanctuary Dealt with a clone threat Had some good times Had a party (with way too many pics) Had a nice and quiet party this time, probably hearing some dialogues for the first time (pretty sure my last and possibly only quiet party Shepard had... sacrificed a few people ) Oh Grunt Tali is always hilarious when drunk As was this! Everyone together! So funny Off we go... Ugh, the clone fight was hellish, with my pea shooter Tempest, also I didn't get my squaddies stronger weapons because I'm dumb and maybe also stubborn to make it too easy (mostly it's the first point though) My grenades dealt some nice damage, but sadly they're depleted quickly and I have no idea where else they spawn (I think I picked up some in the beginning area, but this fight is always so adrenaline-packed I barely remember anything ). I think I tried at least 6 times before I managed to get to the second part of the fight, and I had the nice visual bug where the blue flames from the clone grenades were still being displayed every frigging time, so they were everywhere. Should have quit the game I suppose, but somehow I didn't. Anyway, after another try I got through. I was rewarded with some great hangouts and a party! Yay!

Because I only play on Normal I don't struggle with the clone fight. I actually have to make sure I don't finish the fight too early because I want to hear all the dialogue. Y'know Shepards " you wanna know how I got these scars" rant..

Finished up over the past few days! Long-ass post incoming... To: Diana Allers Re: Normal is the best revenge Hey Diana, thanks so much for your words, it means a lot. I am really sorry to hear about Bekenstein. Be assured we will do everything we can to stop the Reapers. It's a small chance, but it's a chance. It's more than the previous cycles ever had. We will give it our all, count on that. Stay safe during these final hours. See you on the other side. Sincerely, Cmd. Glenn Shepard --------------------------------------- To: Samara Subject: Still alive Dear Samara, it's been a long time since I got rescued and patched up, from what I hear. People are also telling me rebuilding is going strong, everyone is working together... I like hearing that. I still have to digest a bit what we actually accomplished. Quite an amazing feat. I've missed you in the short time that I've been awake. I would love to see you again soon. I have a long way to go to fully recover, but... Maybe, if you let me, we can meet up someday and I'll take you out for dinner and we can catch up. Spending time together to talk, somewhere nice and quiet. (But just so you know, I won't take No for an answer :-)) I look forward to hearing from you. Love, Glenn --------------------------------------- To: Jeff Moreau Subject: Forgive me Hey Jeff, I hope you are alright. I am up. I heard what happened to EDI. I'm so sorry. This is all my fault. I had a choice... I'm not sure how much you know. About what happened on the Citadel, with the Catalyst and the Crucible. I had a choice and I chose to destroy the Reapers, despite hearing the implications from the Catalyst. I do not want to justify my actions, but I do want you to know that I just couldn't choose any different. It was tied to my deepest beliefs. Controlling them... pure madness, the Illusive Man's path. And who knows what might have happened in the future, the Reapers still being around. Too risky. Combining organics and synthetics. Too big of an unknown. I just couldn't simply "combine" everyone to resolve our grievances with each other... I couldn't change everyone to something else. Would they even be themselves anymore? Would it be like two minds in one person? It felt so wrong. So I did the only thing I could. Get rid of those behind the cycle. The guilt inside me about EDI and the geth is eating me up. But I still believe it was the right choice. It has to be. We're free from the terror of the Reapers and their master. We can build our own future now. I hope my choice was worth it, but I believe in all of us. Maybe we can meet up, talk about it if you like. I hope we can still be friends. Most of all, I hope you can forgive me someday. -Glenn --------------------------------------- To: Kahlee Sanders Subject: I'm sorry Dear Kahlee, I've been meaning to write to you ever since David Anderson took his last breath beside me. I'm so sorry for your loss. I grieved so much for him, and still am. I know I'm not responsible. It was the Illusive Man's doing, but my finger pulled that trigger. He made me do it. I will have to live with that. Anderson was always very important to me and a big role model. Without him, we might not stand where we are today. He was a brave man, a hero, and a great mentor. I learned so much from him. Wherever he may be now, I hope he's at peace. And I hope that you will someday heal. We all have new wounds to tend to, and it's still raw. But everyone who died in this fight gave us a future. Tremendous sacrifices had to be made, but it's a fresh start into something great. Hang in there, and take care of yourself. All the best, Glenn Some Epilogue-ish stuff: After recovering from his wounds, Glenn found a new purpose in further strengthening relationships between the various species as an ambassador. He visited all allies frequently to ensure further cooperation and joint projects. He never gave up on his vision of peace and to this day, he fights for everyone. He's also an advocate for synthetic life, hoping organics and synthetics can co-exist peacefully, that the galaxy has learned from the quarian-geth conflict. That peace can be achieved, if they just try. Samara still fights the evils of the galaxy, and she still honours her code, but she realised there are things in her life that are most important to her. Her daughter and Glenn. And even though Samara and Glenn still pursue their own paths in life, they see each other whenever they can and make the most of their time together, forming a deep and intimate bond for life in the process. Finished off Cerberus goons Death of an assassin Had an invisible Tali Reloading luckily fixed that Went to Earth Stopped evil folks Weee, that's another Insanity run done! Died here and there, but not much. Kai Leng was actually ok this time, only one death right at the beginning Also died once at the husk section right before M. Shields, but again I beat Shieldy on the first try! That almost never happens I had Javik and Kaidan leave the Normandy, which was weird, because I barely took Javik to missions. Maybe it counts differently in the LE, but I really expected to see Kaidan and Liara. Or am I misremembering things that the squadmates you took on most missions will show up? I even had Javik in the flashback pics right after Anderson and EDI, wtf My next Shepard is almost good to go, just need to do some final tweaks. This time I want to just write down my decisions etc and not do such long write-ups. It's fun, but it also takes a loooot of time. So I try to play more next time Ok Ok, one more playthrough!

My 71 year old mother is still playing ME, and I just wanted to share that she managed to get Shepard's #1 Fan, Conrad Verner, killed in ME2. I didn't even realize that was a thing. I'm sad that she won't get to see the scene with him in ME3 after she went through the trouble of gathering all those stupid asari writings in ME1. But she also pushed the merc on Illium out the window and then gave herself a round of applause, so I think it all balances out in the end. I'm currently in the middle of Priority: Earth and using the mods Take Earth Back, Audemus's Happy Ending Mod, and Citadel Epilogue Mod Lite for the first time. I installed them after already having Starchild-Be-Gone installed, which you aren't supposed to do (for AHEM and Citadel, I think), and already had a small bug, so hopefully there won't be any more. After this playthrough, I really need to vanilla my game and reinstall my mods from scratch without doing them all out of order like that.

Julie Shepard (Infiltrator, ME3 LE): 1. Responded to an alarm in the Citadel Archives. Fought more of the CAT6 losers and discovered their leader was... a Cerberus-manufactured Shepard clone? Okay... also Brooks was a traitor and tried to trap everyone in vaults. Escaped the vaults and chased after the clone.
2. Boarded the Normandy before it took off. Beat the crap out of the clone and kicked it off the ship (literally). Tali shot Brooks when she tried to escape.
I had not played for about a week so I was a bit rusty. Died a few times in the archives and the Dry Dock sequence, but took out the clone first try because Infiltrator Clone may be the easiest clone.
NEXT UP: Silversun Strip shenanigans. Armax Arsenal Arena challenges, and probably some credit farming/grinding in the arena.

Started my next Shepard on the weekend, Spacer/Sole Survivor. Elaine 'Elly' Shepard, named after her grandmother. She likes the short form more. She got her scar on Akuze and hates it, as it is a constant reminder of what she lost. She wears her hair in a way so it hides the scar a bit. She'll be a Paragade, nice to people who treat her well, but will talk smack to people who are less nice. She's going to be a Carnifex Engineer in the future, so I'm using Pistols in ME1 as well. So excited to play my second Engie on Insanity, as the first one was my very first Insanity run ever and I knew noooothing, it was really terrible - Touched down on Eden Prime and secured a beacon. Or maybe destroyed it, received a vision and flew to the Citadel. - Became a Spectre by presenting irrefutable evidence to the Council, picking up Garrus, Wrex and Tali along the way. Did pretty much all available sidequests, used lots of Paragon options. - Did some sidequesting in various systems to gain some levels. Got ambushed by geth sending out a distress call, Wrex got his family armor back, shut down life support and killed a crazy biotic, saved Chairman Burns, found a missing survey team turned into husks. Short trip back to the Citadel, had to tell Kahoku his men are dead and tell Garoth that his brother is, too. - Went to Noveria to switch up the order for once (it has been some time since I did that first). Helped out some people. Parasini was able to arrest Anoleis once more. At Peak 15, helped with a cure. Had to kill Benezia, then spared the Queen. Wrex was not amused. I actually died a couple times already One Sniper shot me through their cover, a massive stone wall... And here I thought this bullshittery was ME2 exclusive Then there was some funny death when you open the door and all those little green critters jump at you. Instant death. The second time I sent out Kaidan and Wrex to guard that door Also it is maybe noteworthy (nope) that I finished killing the rachni during the purge with 8 seconds to spare. I totally ignored the timer and when they were all dead it caught my eye and I ran for the elevator like crazy, with 1 or 2 secs left I made it, oh dear! Some pics

Changed it up and did Shadow broker before the SM. Did it after I finished my other business on illuim.. recruiting Thane/Samara and Miranda's LM. it does fit quite well here. Liaras whole shadow broker side plot is still fresh in the mind from just doing the observer Quest. And Vasirs comments on Shepard being with Cerberus makes more sense. I'm still going to save Liaras cabin scene for after the SM just because I prefer them talking about the reapers rather then horizon and the collectors. But now Mr illusive is about to send me into a trap on a collector ship because he's a manipulative pos and likes to be "mysterious" seriously his reasoning for doing so is piss weak and he just done it because he's a little control freaky.

Julie Shepard (Infiltrator, ME3 LE): 1. (two days ago) Played some matches in Armax Arena to unlock stuff and receive arena challenges.
2. (today) Completed all arena challenges. Died several times on the Reaper Solo challenge which bothered me. Died several more times on the final Unusual Scores (Fatal Error) challenge which bothered me even more. The Marksman Sniper Infiltrator can be fun, but it is focused on a single target at a time and has difficulty dealing with groups. At times it makes me wish I went with my original idea, which is sort of a replay of Cloak + Sabotage + Proxy Mine (+ Cryo Ammo) with shotgun (Claymore). But the main arena missions are done, so I am content with that for now.
NEXT UP: Grinding matches in the arena to farm a lot of credits. Buying both the Valiant and Black Widow was not cheap and I want to make sure I have enough credits to upgrade all my weapons and have enough left over for NG+ to upgrade some of them more.

Elly Shepard - After having dealt with 2 crime bosses, Elly went to meet with Helena Blake and told her to disband the gang. She agreed. - Saved Terra Nova from a batarian terrorist act. Killed Charn and his goons in the process after first trying to talk to him. Let Balak go in order to save the hostages. Told Simon his missing engineers were dead, and for all the help the Paragon option got me a shiny Omni-Toooooo. - Went to Luna to check out that VI Hackett asked Elly to take care of. It was a success with a bit of Hacking fun and now Elly has the Operative Specialization. Took out Kaidan and Ashley for this one, Alliance Squad! Some pics Hello, I heard there's a Batarian infestation here? Batarians sure enjoy their naps!

For Julie Shepard (ME3 LE), I spent several hours over the past few days just grinding matches in Armax Arsenal Arena, recouping some of the credits I spent on purchasing and upgrading weapons from stores (Valiant, Black Widow, and today the Indra). I played almost 120 matches -- Super Elite Reapers on Wingman-- to get nearly 1.2 million credits.
I should be ready to start playing missions again soon.

Just recruited Javik. I really don't like some of Shepards auto dialogue in the talk with Javik back on the Normandy. Y'know the "Thanks...I think" and Shepard uses the same exact line with Legion in the geth consensus. Apparently a writer thought it was so funny they put it in twice.

Played some more Elly Shepard over the weekend: - Returned to the Citadel and dealt with various folks: Admiral Mikhailovitch, Kalisah, a jellyfish, met Zabaleta and talked with mom about him later, Schells, Dr. Michel (who was in trouble again, and let's just say trying to cut a deal with the Blackmailer didn't go so well for him ), Conrad, Rebekah and Michael, and Emily Wong. Udina didn't like I let the queen go. Boohoo. - After that Elly shut down some Cerberus bases and unfortunately found Admiral Kahoku dead. - Dealt with a bomb set up by Elanos Haliat, defusing it in the process and killing the ones behind it. - Killed an asari slaver named Dahlia Dantius and took care of her mooks as well. Good riddance. - Picked up a Prothean expert from some ruins on Therum and talked some more to the crew. - Went to deal with Major Kyle, who saw reason and got picked up by the Alliance later on. - Garrus' wish to pursue Dr. Saleon came true and Elly tried to arrest him. Sadly for him, he resisted. Some more pics I was actually tempted to do Virmire next already, but then I decided against it. Maybe in the next run or so

Julie Shepard (Infiltrator, ME3 LE): 1. Rescued a Turian platoon on Tuchanka.
2. Helped the Turian platoon disarm a big bomb on Tuchanka.
3. Talked the Asari Councillor. She told Shepard to pick up an artifact from Thessia.
4. Went to Thessia to recover the artifact. The Reapers were a minor annoyance. Javik was an asshole (but what else is new?). Kai Leng showed up and cheated Shepard out of the artifact by activating a cutscene.
5. Traynor tracked Kai Leng to Sanctuary. Shepard went to Sanctuary to beat the crap out of Leng. Leng was gone but Shepard did get to see Miranda (biotically) punch her father out of a window.
6. Went looking for Dr. Garneau. Garneau was dead, but they discovered more about Leviathan.
7. Rescued Ann Bryson from a dig site.
8. Found Leviathan, or rather Leviathans. Convinced them to join the war effort. (Forget to hit record, so I missed capturing a really funny death where I exited the mech just in time to step on an exploding grenade.)
Also discovered I missed picking up the Raider shotgun from the dig site. I either have to reload a previous save to go pick it up, or purchase it from a store. It is *only* about 10,000 credits from a store, so I can purchase it and beat an Armax Arena match to get those credits back.
NEXT UP: Fuel Reactors, Cerberus Fighter Base, and Communications Hub. These are the remaining missions before I throw the big party and start the end game. Also I have a lot of video editing to do for the missions I just documented.

Elly Shepard: - Met Toombs again, surprisingly he's alive! Convinced him to let Dr. Wayne be taken in to question him. - Stole a module from a monkey. No monkeys were harmed in the process. - Went to Feros. Helped out the colonists, took care of a major geth problem there, shot Jeong, dealt with a really old plant and received the Cipher from Shiala, who now helps out the colonists. No casualties among those under the spell of the Thorian. - Hit 80% Paragon a while ago, so Elly was tasked to go deal with some biotic terrorists. (Damn, if you get caught up in their biotics, it can sure be a quick game over. It was hilarious to watch my team topple over more than once Somehow there was also a casualty among the scientists again, but I had reloaded before and then I couldn't be arsed anymore to do it once more. RIP dude.) - Took care of a major geth incursion and gave Tali the data. Pics I have never seen that bug! When I entered, the whole scene was only a white screen with the voices, and then I had to restart the whole game since I couldn't get out of this nice dialogue. So many options to choose from, eh! Glad you enjoy it, Wrex. Tried the Paragon magic once, but it really didn't fit my Shepard, so she made an attempt to convince Jeong otherwise. Oops Uuuum... I had a really nice death once more, a frigging hopper shot me while I had the power wheel open, wtf! I make a habit of saving often, luckily I did shortly before that I have so much fun with Kaidan and Wrex, so much nice action going on with throwing, sabotaging, overloading and neural shocking enemies! Engineer works well with these two (but then I guess any class does ). I thought it would be Kaidan and Garrus with this Shepard, but sometimes something else just comes along and you go with it
