I keep seeing people talk about that new game TF2, and keep getting confused because I'm all like "what, are they remastering Team Fortress 2 or something?" But no, they mean Titanfall 2.

Just had an earthquake. It wasn't anything too serious about 10-12 seconds of shaking, but was creepy none the less since my house is about 30-40 ft from a cliff. I live in Oklahoma man. We already have tornadoes we don't need earthquakes too.

At work with the "It's Complicated" and I think we'll just downgrade that to "It's just awkward."

I am full of excitement because I got off work and my one month vacation officially starts now. Going to the beach with my family for a week and then having an extra few weeks to just relax and enjoy myself not having to work all the damn time. I've fucking earned it for myself.

Looking through some photos on my pc and came across photos of mom. Young and old; when she was already suffering from early onset of dementia. She was cutting a birthday cake at the daycare centre. I can't stop crying. It'll be two years come this Oct since she passed away. I thought I had come to terms with it.

I THINK I finally started getting the difference between prosopagnosia and agnosia. Prosopagnosia deals with inability to differentiate facial features while agnosia is failure to differentiate between a person and an object. (If I'm wrong, someone please correct me)

You just have longer intervurals between the tears. I still can't celebrate Mother's Day. I still haven't gotten round to taking care of her things; clothes and such. Can't get myself to do it. I want to donate her clothes to charity and at the same time, keep them. It's silly, I know. I think I may never touch them at all until my bro tells me we have to move to the new house. We can move any time actually if I'm not mistaken but I think he's giving me time. The house is very old but liveable. We've been here near 30 years. Dad had it built. I'll be sad if it's taken down and something else put up. I'm hoping it can be overhauled but bro will probably think it's too expensive. Anyway, I packed away her daily things not long after her funeral; giving myself busy work not to think and then, I just stopped. I donated her medical bed, after a year. Her medicines were returned to the hospital to be disposed off, I know they just cannot be tossed into the garbage, there're needles and such. Her daily feeds and wheelchair were donated to a elder home. Actually to the elder home my aunt is in. I haven't seen her for a few years and I was depressed when I saw her because she is in exactly in the same state as my mom. The difference is that my cousin / his family do not have the time to take care of her so they put her at the elder home. I should do something but it just reminds me of mom and I can't do it. I'm also tired. I love animals and I'm always the one to take care of the dogs. After mom's death, my bro accepted a pup his daughter's friend cannot keep any more. I told him I will not have the care of it. I want nothing to do with taking care of things any more. Our old dog died a year before mom passed away and his passing was the most agonizing. I blamed my bro for it. I knew the dog was seriously ill and had to be put down but my bro dragged his feet over it. Maybe the idiot vet told him to wait and made sure it's hopeless. So for three days and nights, the dog suffered. He whimpered and howled in the nights because he didn't understand what was happening to him. My bro told me to get the dog put down. I told him he could do it. WTF, I had mom to look after and the ball was his; I had already told him what he ought to have done and he said to wait. Well it was his shit, not mine. OneWomanArmy, thanks. Anyway, I'll remember not to open that folder. Not any time soon.

OneWomanArmy , thanks. Anyway, I'll remember not to open that folder. Not any time soon. Is there someone who can go through that stuff for you? I found it easier just to keep a couple of things and then just get rid of everything else. My sister is the one who has a hard time letting go of things. I guess everyone handles grief their own way though. It may be helpful to accept help from someone who wasn't as close to your mother as you were. My sympathies to you, I know it isn't easy to go through.

It felt like such a slap in the face every year. For years I would visit the tombstone and just about ball my goddamn eyes out. Now, about 10 years after the fact, it's.. different for me. I still don't feel I was ready, and I still don't feel his exit was in a way that was fair, just, or humane in timing or in nature. But I admire him for it. And I am proud to say that I am his son.
