If I want teenagers to save the world, I've got a large collection of JRPGs to choose from. If Peebee (I can't get over how dumb that nickname is) isn't available for romance, I hope it's not because she's a kid/teenager by Asari terms. It's not a true RPG until you have a group of teenagers defeat a God with the power of friendship. :P Don't discount the value of the guidance of that wizened patriarch in his early twenties that led them all unerringly from afar since he was obviously too feeble with age to adventure any longer... |

Could you romance Samara/Morinth? Yes. Morinth you begin the scene and then you die because she is an Ardat-Yakshi. As for Samara, in ME2 you can flirt with her but she rebuffs your advance but in the ME3 Citadel DLC they made it so if you flirted with her in ME2 you can have a relationship in the DLC. I don't have the DLCs :) |

I'd prefer a more serious seasoned Asari but if we are going to get a juvenile bratty Asari as it seems based on early evidence at least i'd like to explore new ground by seeing an asari considered underage and unavailable yet at an age that humans would deem very adult rather than repeat Liara just about an adult. |

I think there is a small chance Bioware will troll us. Just imagine: the amount of hatred against Peebee just because her looks at the beginning, just for her character description, just for simply existing at some point. Everyone is assumming she is gonna be romanceable. Now, imagine she is one of the best characters of the game. Imagine she has an interesting conversation, she is fun, she is interesting, she knows things... Imagine the most part of fans ends loving her ...but she is not romanceable  Oh yes, I wouldn't mind that, KARMA IS A BIATCH! To be honest I hope she's either not a romance or just a fling, leaving room for someone else to have a "full" romance. I don't want all the bisexual ladies to be asari, and for a personal reason, I also don't think I'll like Peebee so it would be nice to have another option instead. |

Vivenne was one of the first DAI companions we saw, and at one point it seemed like she was everywhere in the marketing as we waited for them to show us the other companions. Like, a new screen would come out, and it was Vivienne. Again. A new gameplay trailer? You'd bet one of the companions was Viv. I even remember one of the BSNers (it might even have been BioFan, now that I think about it) being all 'WHERE IS MY DORIAN!?' and one of the devs replied with 'here you go' and a spoilered pic of... you guessed it And in the end she wasn't a romance. And then there was Sera... I remember all these guys complaining that she was ugly and had stupid hair and so on and so forth. You'd think they'd have been relieved when it was announced she was a lesbian. Not so... there were multiple threads from angry guys screaming about Bioware betraying their (straight male) fan base. It just gets to the point where I feel like some male players genuinely believe that unless every woman in the game is conventionally hot and willing to screw them, there's some anti- straight male conspiracy that's out to destroy their happiness as revenge for... something? Things get kinda murky at that point...  I could say the same from the other side. |

That is true but in ME 3 the npc was a lesbian, I doubt that will happen again. For what I get from bioware is that all gamers have at least one companion to romance, so two straights and gay/lesbian, the rest is free for all. |

None of the ladies we've seen thus far really strike me. Not for lack of attractiveness, they're all quite beautiful. With the exception of Vetra. I'm excited to get to know a female Turian for once but not interested in romancing her, so it doesn't really matter what her orientation is.
It's really going to come down to personality I suppose, which we don't know much about on anyone. Except maybe Peebee... and with what has been hinted, she seems a little too Sera-like for me but we'll see.
If I had to pick one I was most interested in learning more about at this point I'd say Dr. Lexi.

They were already saying Cassandra's romance would suck even before the game came out. It didn't matter to me that females had way more options because I was happy with what I had and females usually don't have as many romance options as males in RPGs. We also tend to actually appreciate those romances, instead of complaining everywhere online about how terrible they are because they don't quite adhere to our ultra strict real-life standards.  Just putting it out there (most) straight dudes... Maybe if you guys were willing to go outside your comfort zone a bit, you'd start getting more options. As it is, as Bioware (and other game devs) create more diverse female characters (in looks, personality, and so on), they're just not going to bother letting guys romance very many of them because so many male players aren't going to like them anyway. (Also, note I said 'most'/'so many' because I know it's not all - hell, it might not even be 'most,' it just seems that way because those straight guys are the most vocal. I do have to wonder how some of these guys get girlfriends - if they only got for busty women with long hair and supermodel looks in real life they must be quite the catch.  Also, lest someone start yelling at me, I'm not talking guys who just weren't into Cass or Josephine in DAI and are hoping for options they do like in MEA. Just putting it out there (most) straight dudes... Maybe if you guys were willing to go outside your comfort zone a bit, you'd start getting more options. As it is, as Bioware (and other game devs) create more diverse female characters (in looks, personality, and so on), they're just not going to bother letting guys romance very many of them because so many male players aren't going to like them anyway.
Also, lest someone start yelling at me, I'm not talking guys who just weren't into Cass or Josephine in DAI and are hoping for options they do like in MEA.
