I'd like to get the Deluxe version for PC, but I also like to have a box to put on the shelf. Is there anyway to do this or is it digital only?

It was recently mentioned via dev tweets that:
--PC Deluxe is digital only --boxed PS4/XBone Deluxe are releasing in North America only --there may be a digital deluxe upgrade, but not yet unconfirmed

No physical Deluxe for PC, sadly--I just went ahead and pre-ordered the digital Deluxe on that Origin 30% off deal they're running at the mo. I'm thinking I might wait about a year/year and a half - enough for them to be down below a tenner on eBay - and then buy a sealed, boxed PC copy to go with my other physical copies. It'll be a bummer not having any special edition packaging--but honestly, I think the standard box art's better this time around anyway:

I was bitching about this in another thread. I even noticed you can get the completely stoopid edition from the bioware store directly for $260 with the radio controlled nomad and you _still_ don't get the deluxe edition content. You _do_ get a steelbook collectors edition box... which by default HAS NO GAME IN IT.
This is a very screwed up marketing run, if you ask me.

Want a physical copy of ME:A digital version? Here be some steps: (note this will only work post ME:A DIGITAL release)
1. Make a CD box. 2. Find two ME:A cover arts: 1 Rectangle and 1 Circular (or turned into such). 3. Print the cover arts. 4. Glue rectangle cover art to box front. 5. Install ME:A digital edition to hard drive. 6. Find game folder and copy the config folder (would be to big otherwise) to a blank DVD-R, DVD+R, DVD-DL, DVD+DL, DVD-RW, or DVD+RW disk. 7. Burn said folder to said disk. 8. Glue the circular cover art to the disk. 9. Put disk in the box you made. 10. Now you have a physical ME:A digital copy.
Sorry if the above comes across as cold and sarcastic it is not meant to be so. Noticed it sounded as such after rereading. Just trying to help.

I have a habit of writing straight from the brain -high end INTJ -yes I know most don't fit the typing but when you are 95%+ in all four I think it kind of solidifies it.That step-by-step was intended as way to get a physical digital copy -when there will be none. It is what I will do myself so I can have the boxes.

I've pre-ordered the digitial download for the Super Deluxe version (which you can't get with the Nomad). I'd quite like the Nomad, however, so what I may end up doing is buying the Standard Edition plus Nomad and giving the game that comes with it as a present. Then I can put the Super Deluxe download key code in the steel book and voila

So no boxed Deluxe or Super deluxe versions for outside of North America, wow, that really sucks! At least there are digital versions I suppose, I'll wait until the price plumits after release and get a boxed normal version too cuz I like to have things on my gaming self

I too wanted this as wel lunfortunately only the standard version looks like is physical and that if you want the extra stuff you'll have to get it digitally through Origin I'm afraid.

I'm not that bothered by the lack of a box but the lack of the Nomad option seems really silly (as far as I can find in the UK, anyway). Anyone willing to pay the kind of money required for the Nomad is not going to be satisfied with the Standard Edition game and you can't buy the nomad separately either.
I suppose it's possible Game will open up other Nomad bundles at some point but the current situation is annoying.

Just out of curiosity, since i've never anything similar to that. I actually wanted to go for the physical deluxe version of ME:A for the xbox one; but since it seems there won't be any outside the US, does anyone know some store which sells it & would ship to Germany?

It looks like that even the retail standard PC version is digital only.
You only get the box with with the download code inside.

Suggestion:
If BW/EA were really fan-oriented, they'd make the R/C Nomad available for purchase with a bonus coupon code when PRE-ORDERING a Deluxe Edition.
The pre-order coupon would allow the person to buy a Nomad for $139 (USD), and make it available for delivery before 3-21. There are so many manufacturers and vendors with such experience who would make this happen.
I think of having models of the Nomad and the Tempest sitting next to me as I begin the game and say to myself: "This is soooo cool." It is to weep (Hands in face). Again we see missed corporate marketing opportunities, self-inflicted wounds, and needless disappointment/frustration for the fans. Geesh.
Then, the Nomad could be released for open purchase after 3-21.
They'd make more merchandising $$$, wouldn't they?

thanks guys - are you all mostly just getting the Deluxe then from Origin? Guess I'll get a box later - or make one myself as someone suggested. This is the first time I'm buying for PC - usually do XBX but for this series going with PC.

I was bitching about this in another thread. You _do_ get a steelbook collectors edition box... which by default HAS NO GAME IN IT. This is a very screwed up marketing run, if you ask me. So what did you expect them to do: make collectors editions for all three skus, trying to guess how many collectors sets to make for each platform and then having to end up dealing with the fact that one platform will no doubt end up with less editions than the market actually wanted while another will have had so many collectors editions purchased that they'll sit on the store shelves for a year until they hit clearance prices. I used to work retail. Every time there was a multiplatform collectors edition, there was always one platform that never sold through and sat on the shelf or on the warehouse until the entire thing dropped to bargain bin prices just to get it out of the store. Having a universal sku for just the collectors stuff is the far better option for everyone since it means people who buy digital can get the physical goods without having to buy another copy of a game, people who are on a less popular platform but with the larger portion of the fanbase won't have to deal with the fact that their console of choice only had 4 collectors editions produced while the other console had 57 with only 14 people who own that console actually interested in the edition in the first place, and retail outlets don't have to worry about 20 skus for literally the same product, with half of those skus doing nothing but sitting on a shelf and occupying overstock space that could be used for something that actually will sell. The RC car thing is $200. If EA stuck a copy of the game in the box, the package price still wouldn't be $200, so it's not like it's truly costing you money.

And then if they did that, no one past 3-21 would have a Nomad and instead would be waiting for weeks, or months, bitching and moaning that they can't find a car when the production line wasn't set up in mind for continued production of a product and is now occupied with producing something else and thus has to be reformatted to once again start producing cars for regular consumer consumption. And then they'd no doubt over-producing said cars based on "fan demand" and will end up with a bunch of RC cars sitting in warehouses and store shelves, unmoving until they're discounted in order to clear inventory.

I think it was a clever idea to make the Nomad separate to the game itself but I'm not happy with the fact that you cannot buy it separately in the UK and, as a bundle, it only comes with the Standard Edition (at least as far as I can tell). Given that the retailers get it supplied separately to the game it seems crazy not to be available as a bundle with either of the three editions of the game. If it was going to be limited to only one then at least limit it to the Super Deluxe and not the Standard! Mind you that may be because I've only seen the Nomad being sold by Game and Game don't seem to stock the deluxe editions anyway. Only Amazon do the download deluxe versions at the moment and they don't sell the Nomad. It's all a bit annoying!

The picture has a caption that says no game included, but the description says that the game is included. Mass Effect: Andromeda Remote Control Nomad ND1 Collector's Edition Game BundleThis is the one that I ordered, and checking the order in my store account shows that there is a game on order.
