Well she either got a redesign or this is another krogan. Bigger hump, different skin color and eyes, nah, this has to be someone else. Nice to see another krogan crewmember. Maybe she is the Tempest’s engineer or an arms master. The face painting is interesting too. Krogan have their own thing or is this the equivalent of a turian friendship bracelet?

Well, not a theory-theory, since there's no actual evidence she is, but a guess? An idea? Some trickling of a thought. But think about it, maybe that's why Nakmor Kesh wasn't necessarily bound to some Krogan clan like most female Krogan. Maybe she managed to escape, met an asari she thought was smoking hot, then they settled down on a planet known for scientific research and had a kid with the woman she loved. Maybe the reason Peebee managed to get onto the Andromeda Initiative was because of her connections (her dad being the head engineer). As for what happened to the mother, maybe she died or went along too or something.
Yeah, yeah, I know it's not likely, but it's got some slight possibility.

The new ign video confirmed that the krogan with the facemarkings is indeed Kesh. I liked her original design but this is fine too. Can't wait to meet her!
