System requirements are grossly bloated for a game that isn't as graphically or technically impressive than that of battlefield 1, battlefront or witcher 3.
The specs are exactly the same as battlefield 1 and MEA looks like an older game in comparison.
Either they're overcompensating and it will run on less horsepower like shadow of Mordor, or it's unoptimizable trash like Arkham knight.

Which is what focus testing is for. To be fair, you can see their logic. Give the player the choice at the end for three drastically different outcomes; and they are drastic, even if the cinematic doesn't show it. Kill all synthetics, control all synthetics, become symbiotic. I can see why they thought that would lead to speculation and conversation. Of course, that's not what players wanted. They wanted their actions over the course of the trilogy to play a larger role in the outcome. See, that's what the other 99% of the game was spent doing. It's you people who shove your head up your backsides and pretend only five minutes of a 30+-hour game exist just for the sake of whining about things that were even reiterated in the last half-hour of the game. But your choices don't have consequences unless we have a slideshow that repeats information that people who were actually paying attention and caring about the game already knew. What do you mean "you people"???? j/k Don't lump me in with those people. The endings don't negate the rest of the 70+ hours of gameplay from the trilogy to me. And I wasn't really all that upset about the ending regardless. Certainly not happy, but not severely disappointed either. But the uproar regarding the ending was loud and clear, for various reasons. I'd be the first one to say gamers often get their knickers in a twist over nothing, but in this case there's at least something to it. |

Just commenting on what I read, from before ME:A was even a thing. Unlike many I dont clip articles and save them for future use years later. I didnt express any facts in my post it was my "FEELINGS" and how I felt about ME as a progression. Personally I have no problems with People being gay, I do have problems when it gets militant and starts affecting me in some way. If IM wrong about the events that happened between ME:2 and ME:3 that affected graphical decisions I will apologize, SO while you ant picking nits with one issue, what about the rest? Picking nits? No. Saying that LGBT fans demanded less attractive default female PCs was either an outright lie or delusional, based on my experience. It wasn't a statement of your feelings, which I am utterly uninterested in. It was a statement of what other fans were posting. This is a factual question. As for the other points, yeah, we won't see much in the way of modding. The lack of bug-fix mods will be annoying. MP will almost certainly be a nonissue. Worst-case scenario is that the best gear really is locked away behind MP. Unless Bio's changed their entire combat design philosophy, having the best gear will make the gameplay worse, not better, so this isn't a problem. Im old and used to just blunt speech, and really did grow up with the adage "Sticks and Stone..." we called each other degos or wops, and krauts and pollocks in my home town...and were all great friends....things are different now I guess. I was watching the Weapons Orientation video and there is a minor thing that bugs me.
The way Ryder is holding the weapons. It looks as if they are shooting from the hip, even with shotguns and sniper rifles. Instead of using the stock. It looks a bit silly.
Maybe I'm the only one who's seeing it.

Sigh... Biojihadis... Do you realize that Geralt is actually using the 'Silli' sign in that video? It's meant to distract enemies. There's a secret quest that unlocks it. Vesemir teaches Geralt the sign only reluctantly, because it's very difficult to pull off.

I'm actually serious. The UI design reminds me of Boom and there's a general jankyness in the in-game animations that for some reason take me back to that game. I almost wonder if some ex-BRB devs are working on this. I think maybe it's the fact that BioWare's said there's a bunch of "smaller teams" working on ME:A which is pretty much how Boom was made too. Obviously it's not going to be anywhere near as bad though. It's also kind of a stab at how the art director Joel Macmillan was also the lead art guy on Sonic Chronicles  |

Here's a video I thought was interesting, the guy had some good points. I know that during the combat reveal trailers BW was probably playing on the easiest difficulty, but this AI is sort of concerning. They claim insanity will be really challenging, but I still don't believe it.

I don't get the complaints about the writing. Mass Effect always had some cheesy and weird dialogue and one liners. Want an examples? "Look at thiiis...like sneaking into the captain's quarters. Heavy risk, but the priiize" Or the big stupid jellyfish lines. To be fair, a great deal of the hanar we meet really are big stupid jellyfish. I doubt there's a better way to describe them. |
