I don't quite see the problem some people here have with dropzofcrimzon. He's got the right to roleplay however he wishes to. As long as he doesn't insult the VA herself, who is just doing a job, I don't see why he couldn't be mean to Sara if that's what he wants to be. Not all families get along.

Nope, wasn't expecting it necessarily, but why ruin any sense of trepidation? Why ruin every cliffhanger or moment of peril in the game? What happened to letting us find out for ourselves? Imagine going into a movie after seeing the director giving an interview saying 'don't worry, characters x, y & z don't die'. It's ridiculous.

I think this is less about him trying to calm nonexistent fears and more about 'I big man, listen to me! I know things, you don't! Kneel before me!'. Just keep your mouth shut Mac.

Well, we'll have to agree to disagree. But knowing that whatever decision I make, whatever situation I'm in, plot armour will save me, is a pretty immersion breaking experience.
Fair enough if they have decided certain characters won't die but you don't tell everybody beforehand. I just don't see an upside to telling people this other than that he is in a position to and felt like it.

Her interactions in the video with the voice actor for Scott, tho obviously slapstick and intended, made me immediately dislike her and by extension her character should Sarah be played even remotely as obnoxiously. That isnto explain my first comment.

My second comment about making a person like that swallow her teeth. A person being that abrasive for the sake of being a dick/bitch as she appears to be in that first video gets 1 warning from me on the line of "cut the crap and stop talking to me"...follow by violence if the offending behaviour is continued. I am not about to take any shit like that tyvm. Now you can see that as I see that behavior SO off putting seeing her in that video has quote thoroughly sullied my view of Sarah and Fryda.

Take it as you want it but if a person acted towards me the way she acted towards him I would simply do as I said above. Quite simple. You can argue it was meant to be seen that way, I just found it unfunny, annoying as hell and abrasive, enough that now my view of her and the character is skewed.

I found her to be incredibly obnoxious in that Bioware video and I really hope that it did not set the tone for the sibling relationship in MEA. Her voice is also kinda grating.

This. I don't recall seeing the same sentiment toward Alix Wilton Reegan after the spit take video? I mean, she was literally spitting in Conal's face repeatedly on purpose. That's way worse than what we saw in the Fryda/Tom video. (Fun fact: that was Conal's idea too... Apparently he has a thing for women being overtly mean to men...   )

Anyway. Obviously the thing was a joke. It's one thing to not find it funny - humor is subjective. It's another to take it seriously at all. It was clearly scripted, clearly satire, and the two actors are long time friends so it's not like Fryda Wolff is some evil bully in real life. I highly doubt siblingSara will be either.
