Will you be doing a playthrough or other types of content with MEA on Youtube?

A let's play: Maybe. Learning more towards no. I wouldn't LP a blind playthrough or around the time of release. If I did do it, it would be when all the DLCs are out.

Random videos: Probably. Recording and uploading certain scenes doesn't take much work.

Streaming: Yes. I might not stream an entire playthrough. I'll only do it when I am in the mood. I wouldn't want to bore any viewers (even if there's only two of them) with someone who's too tired to talk.

I only watch u tube when I am stuck. I am greatful that people do it, but tbh I do not like watching other people play the game, I like playing it. Unless I am stuck.

I hardly watch anyone play Mass Effect or Dragon Age. If I do, it's during a stream where they talk to the viewers or I'm seeing them experience the game for the first time. It's interesting to see what choices they make and why, especially when events happen in their game that would never occur in mine. I actually got into Dragon Age: Origins because I saw the beginning of an LP. I bought it from Steam the earliest chance I got.

I'll be doing a playthrough for the YouTube channel I'm trying to get off the ground. Not my first run-through of the game, since that'll be just for me, for my own enjoyment and to get a feel for the game and get ideas for things to discuss later. I'll record the next playthrough, after editing out long stretches of nothing happening and whatnot (but I'll be keeping any incompetent gameplay and various fuck-ups in the videos because I've always found that sort of thing entertaining). Plus I'll probably excerpt and upload clips of graphics glitches and other goofiness, assuming any happen, just for a quick chuckle. Like this one ...



Also, if any random amusing stuff happens in the background, I'll upload a clip of it, like this one from GTA Online ....



I've been sporadically uploading gameplay/writing discussion videos for ME2 and ME3 on my personal channel, but decided to make a few slight edits and upload them to my new channel, and I need to finally finish both series in time to get started on MEA. I changed the title of the ME2 series to Feel Boss Saves the Galaxy and when I start re-uploading the ME3 videos, the series title will be As Useful as Tits on a Hanar: Feel Boss Slogs through Mass Effect 3.   

Anyway, once I finish with those, I'll first play through the game as male Ryder, hopefully including a Vetra romance, followed by another with female Ryder. In the first, I'll probably end up talking a lot about the writing and characters in the game, and in the second I'm hoping to discuss whatever I didn't think to mention in the first, plus new stuff that pops into my head.

At least, that's the plan. At least it's a better strategy than, "We fight or we die!" 

This is the main reason I watch streams/youtube videos. Commentary, and chat interaction in the case of streams, matter to me a lot more than the quality of the gameplay (but that can partially make up for a less interesting person).

Stuff like TB's port reports and wtf is videos I actually do watch as well. I know he frowns on having them called reviews, but his impressions tend to match my own. Also, and I'm contradicting myself a bit, I enjoy when the wife makes him play games he hates. Them playing The Sims and Huniepop together is hilarious.

No from me as well: I like to keep the screaming and the embarrassment to myself (as I am terrible at combat). However, I do like watching others play, just to see the choices and outcomes I would never take myself. Listening to commentary is also fun - especially when it is someone's first playthorugh.

Nope. I game for my own private enjoyment. I have a youtube account for the purpose of subscriptions and the ability to favorite and comment on videos. I'm a voyeur, not an attention hog. 😂
