When was the last N7 Day that Bio gave us an info dump on a upcoming game? DA:I?, ME3? From what I've seen they promote COSPLAYs, T-Shirts, Hoodies and Toys. You're right, it's never happened. The only reason this year could be different is that Battlefield 1 and Titanfall 2 launch on 21st and 28th October respectively, it's a perfect time to start the launch marketing campaign for MEA unfettered by conflicting EA product. <<<<<<<<<<(0)>>>>>>>>>> Hm.. I just checked the AAA title release dates... and you're right. No conflicts after October, 2016.

This will be their first N7 Day that lands in the middle of an actual launch lead-up, so whatever they may or may not have celebrated and showcased in years prior doesn't necessarily mean anything. I would be personally surprised if we didn't at least get an Andromeda trailer or something of the like, but it really is annyone's guess. Otherwise I feel like Flynn using a lot of words here to say not much at all. Business as usual. <<<<<<<<<<(0)>>>>>>>>>> Flynn and co. are masters of the gobbledygook talk.

Right. But we're the minority of their audience, too. In other words, even if we told all of our friends, spoke in the most glowing terms about the game, we would still reach an audience of maybe a million. Two million, let's play it safe.
That still doesn't hold a candle to the 20 million a TV ad campaign does. My guess is that the person that came up with N7 day kinda regrets it now. Because while it does sound good on paper, in actuality, it's not very good at all. Not because they don't like the game, but because we're entitled gamers who think that we should have have a first look at everything.

Yes. They just out out the trailer for the game on national TV.
I believe I've seen some ads for BF1, but I should see more of them after the game releases. Also, TF2.
Not at my PC right now, so I can't post links directly (or at least easily). But just do a search for Dai, trailer, and singing and it should come up. Also, while you're at YouTube, you might wanna do a search for ME and Johnny Cash. You'll see some amazing similarities between the two, and I'm more than willing to bet that's the video that they'll put out to advertise ME on TV.

I bet the relay is in the drive cores of the ships now, which is why they are able to jump on command.
I would also bet this is reversed tech from the Reapers, or from a Mass Effect Relay, that caused that to be a technological evolution for the starships.

Ryder has an "Ai" or "A1" instead of an N7 on their armor, so we're not N7 off the bat at least. Devs, such as Mac Walters, have t-shirts with the same Ai/A1 symbol.

<<<<<<<<<<(0)>>>>>>>>>> OK, I re-read an article with Walters and Flynn from Arstechnica. This is what Flynn had to say, regarding N7."Even when the ‘N7’ comes on in the trailer," he continued, "it’s just a big reminder that ‘N7’ and everything that stands for is consistent across the games, and still means things—means camaraderie and support from the other characters. It means being part of a team. Hopefully, it’s coming to mean really great gameplay in the combat experience and everywhere."
I think the above pours cold waters to any hope of a reveal during N7 Day, let alone a video trailer. ...
You read what you want to read. E.g.: I read something that might hint to a cop mp experience. <<<<<<<<<<(0)>>>>>>>>>> With so little info and seemingly random clues, what else is there to do?

That was discussed somewhat in depth in some of the Andromeda threads in the BW BSN. People suggested "Ark Initiative" "Andromeda Initiative" I suggested it to be some sort of symbol representing the milky way alliance that traveled to Andromeda.

Thanks Sartoz... The problem is that this is from an article dated June 15, 2015. The same day, in fact, Conal started the BSN thread. My concern is the generalizations which seem to be invading the very few interviews they have given. If we presume, which has been stated I believe, ME:A to be a Q1 2017 release it seems, as Leliana would say... "very odd" that we haven't had much in the way of even speculative information. I perused over in the DA:I section of the old BSN and companions were being discussed 8 months prior to that game's release. Now, I know different teams, different IP's, still the timing does seem off. I also thought the first book was due out this month, however, Amazon doesn't even have it on their website, much less a date. I guess we will see going forward, or maybe not. I am hoping for the former, but leaning toward the latter. Cheers! <<<<<<<<<<(0)>>>>>>>>>> Well, the publisher is supposed to be Titan Books. Is it possible Titan wants to sell the book under its umbrella first? Titan, I understand is UK based. Still, for North America, Amazon is the way to go.... This silence is very bizarro.

Would certainly explain why there won't be any billion year old hypercivilizations in Andromeda. Granted, it's not an explanation I would prefer or even like, but it would be an explanation. Does it need an explanation? We still don't know an answer for Fermi Paradox and I doubt it's the "Reapers". The Fermi Paradox is a flawed concept because it assumes: 1) That our current methods of sending and detecting signals are efficient enough to detect other life in the cosmos. 2) That any extrasolar civilization advanced enough to find us exists right now and wants to do so, and that civilizations which exist right now and want to find us are advanced enough to do so. 3) That any civilization capable of leaving their own star system is either capable or willing to colonize the entire galaxy. 4) That any civilization capable and willing to colonize the galaxy will exist long enough to do so, or that the desire to do so will be a constant throughout their history. 5) That the galaxy is easy and small enough to colonize that it can be done in a million years even given the inevitable slew of problems that will arise. The Fermi Paradox should be rephrased as "Assuming the best possible circumstances, which are statistically impossible to ever occur simultaneously, why haven't aliens contacted us?" We went to the moon in ten years, followed by 50 years of ongoing dryhumping of LEO. With the exception of Japan, not a single historically congruous nation has existed for more than two millenia, and Japan has changed ideologically and culturally countless times under that period. It's also not one of the nations capable of sending people into space. Also, one million years is the kind of timescale on which entire species go extinct or cease to exist via evolution into different species. The humans who set out to colonize the galaxy will be biologically different from the humans who exist a million years later, assuming the perils of the galaxy haven't driven the original humans into extinction and prevented that evolution from taking place. Maybe we should stop being stupid primitives before making asinine assumptions about how easy it is to colonize the galaxy and discover other life in the universe. Just my two dollars.

To be honest, N7 only resonated with me as date, not as Shepard's MOS.
Concerning the relays, I don't find it inconceivable if there are some ships specially converted into Mass Relays or have mini Mass Relays.

Unless there is a Mass Relay over in Andromeda, we can't use Mass Relays to get there.

The Fermi Paradox is a flawed concept because it assumes: Nah, it simply states that we haven't seen any signs of alien civilization so far. What you've listed are all possible answers to it. Technically we can't answer it, until we actually find aliens.
