Though I highly doubt it, but if Kotaku is correct, a bunch of big, salty mouths have ruined MEA and I hope karma kicks their asses someday for ruining it for people who truly love the game.  |

Though I highly doubt it, but if Kotaku is correct, a bunch of big, salty mouths have ruined MEA and I hope karma kicks their asses someday for ruining it for people who truly love the game. I hate throwing around the "real fans" line, but hopefully those salt shakers will leave and those that remain will be the open minded types that enjoy games, even if they have to wait a bit for bumps to be ironed out via patches. All the salt seems to come from the impatient, yet loud minority who want their "quick fix" before they bounce to another game. As for Kotaku talking about it ruining ME:A, I'm with you on the doubting, ME:A had a lot to live up to, what with the OT finishing years and years ago... a lot of old fans with rose tinted glasses to please. Honestly I loved ME:A from launch, (bugs be damned) and was super bummed about the tsunami of hate/bashing posts from a lot of big name review sites. In the end I just blocked a lot of Googles Andromeda news because it was just depressing... And yet, with all the bashing and calls for change, came the patches! The animations were polished, Jaal became bi etc. etc. ... so I guess in a sense, it helped? So conflicted! |

I'm just hoping for DLC . . . all the hype and misinfo - Bioware could use a little PR refresher in 'communication'. Maybe just let us all know one way or another if the patches and MP are it, or if the quarian ark is a thing? The game deserves a right proper send off so I can play it over and over as a self contained story  |

Can't say I would be TOO disappointed if we didn't get a DLC. It's just less of a chance of BW ruining the best m/m romance they have delivered to date, and the one with the happiest ending to boot. But if they can avoid that and only make what is essentially perfection even more perfect, then sure, yeah, I'll be sad if they can't deliver a DLC.

On a lighter note, I must confess Sloane Kelly surprised me. I did a speedrun to get those pics, but I did not do any Kadara quest and she chose to show up and help without me doing anything for her. Also OMG I just noticed this! Look at the Moshae's face!   |

heh, something kinda funny happened, so i kissed gil but then i told him that i wanted to be just friends since i'm romancing jaal and then when he talked to me about the having a kid thing, at the end of the conversation he's like "oh btw you're right, that kiss wasn't even good" lol  Ouch ha. Poor Gil, I still hope they add some more stuff to his romance. It is an action adventure shooter like Destiny. All online. This isn't what Bioware is used to. It also explains a lot regarding the rumors that EA wants to kill off those types of games and make BW work on more things like Anthem. I mean EA is the reason the Jaal thing never happened in March, and if no one had said anything, we'd be stuck with how it was before. No bi stuff, no new things for both romances. EA wants this stuff to just fade away. |

After testing all the Jaal scenes, I have a few things that feel a bit wrong: First, when he asks if you like him for his skill and knowledge, who the heck would say "no not really" I mean geez!  Second, if you do not have sex and do not confess love, the hug is cute, but it makes me think I just hinted to Jaal I might move on someday. He seems sad. Third and final is the timing between getting the Aya invite and him implying he might leave. If you do Aya first it looks like after sex he had his fill and is moving on lol The one thing I did like was if you don't kiss him when walking to the lake. Ryder laughs and runs ahead, he catches them and wraps his arms around them from behind. It's so playful and fits them better imo. |

Looking at EA's financial report, unfortunately each online game brings in a great deal more cash than 'niche' RPG's that only appeal to a few million people, rather than tens of millions of cash cows. That's where it appears to be going, folks.
Maybe, this new IP will be an action game like Tomb Raider, even a bit like Horizon with RPG elements, but honestly looking at the trailer I have serious flashbacks to Destiny's trailer last month. And a single player campaign is not hinted at much. Not with corporate guys talking about 'disruptive' social whatever. They can go 'disrupt' themselves . . .
In the future, I hope for more surprises like Horizon Zero, fantastic RPG, and single player, but ultimately money is going to win (or lose) the war on this.
