Just heard something I've not heard before - when Ryder was talking to the hamster thing after catching it in the trap.

"You're the cutest creature I've seen in Andromeda so far"
"Except Jaal, he's special"

Lol. Never got that second line before, wonder if it has something to do with the status of the romance at the time of this trap quest? I love the way the VA says that line.

Yeah, it triggers when you do that scene after committing with a Tempest LI. For example with Cora the second line is "Don't tell Cora I said that.". 

Oh man more to try in the next playthrough!

So I adjusted my monitor's settings and fixed it so it showed everything in proper 4K. Isn't he cute?

IKR? It's funny to me that I'm STILL missing things, despite being on my 5th run!

My Ryder looks like she drinks too much coffee. I think teeth and eyes are reflecting light badly. I was chatting with Liam and the Nomad was behind me with a gold paint job and you could see it reflecting in his eyes.

Settings on our computers possibly? I have mine maxed out and my monitor shows beyond RGB.

Might be. You can tell they vamped everything up and even improved the cinematics. My fav is the goofy, adoring smile Sara gives Jaal when he calls her "Darling One" when they end a convo.

Jaal's romance was Sara with those tweaks are the best thing that's happened to this game imo! The emotions between them, the shy smiles, the deep kisses, it makes it real.

That's an awful thought! Cora's new expressions already get to me.

Here and there, someone posted the whole thing on Youtube. I didn't watch it personally because I want to see it for myself first; but to be clear, different animations doesn't really count as "new content" for me, I was hoping for different ways dialogues play out or alternative responses based on the fact that Scott is a guy, etc. I dunno, I'm still definitely playing through with my Jaalmancer Scott and see what it's like, maybe I'll change my mind more about that once I actually experience it. This scene I quoted looks really nice with Scott and I could see myself approaching it in a different light based on animations, which is why I said I'm relieved it's not a total copy-paste, that would be a complete letdown.
Exactly my thoughts! I mean, just as facial tinting (like blushing) might look totally weird and unhealthy in our eyes because our blood is red i.e. blushes to us means your cheeks go pink, not gray, blue or green or whatever, I think the same is probably true of teeth. It might look strange to us, but there's no reason why an alien should have sparkling white teeth - besides which, too-white teeth look totally unnatural to me, it screams fakery from miles away, ugh.
Yeeees I like that look. I'm super curious, I just have to wade through the gazillion Eos and Nexus quests before I get to Aya and then wade through all those quests... argh I know slow burn is popular and all, but I kinda wish we could fast-track Jaalmance for science? I'm a completionist, I cannot resist doing every damn sidequest before continuing with the big stuff. This takes me back to Solasmance where you had to play the entire game before you finally reached Trespasser.

Also, I'm so sorry for your and the school's loss.
