Jaal Ama Darav (Official Thread)

Hahaha I had to dump Reyas because I did his Sloane mission before visiting Jaals family! But hoo boy, I didn't mean for it to come out as harsh as it did! Poor Reyas! 


I might do a triangle relationship with Scott+Peebs/Avela/Reporter... but I'd do it on narrative so it's out of the way quick!

So... I've taken it upon myself to investigate all food in Andromeda... (JFC I keep finding ways to make this run slower) Still in Nexus space ATM, but I've found a couple of weird ones:

- Cans of what are clearly baked beans, are labelled as "meat/steak"
- There was a can labelled "space" with no other clue as to what is inside, but its the same size as the tuna cans...

Can't wait till I get to Aya etc. Gunna scout out all the foodstuffs

It's a shame the writers felt that PeeBee would be the first to catch Jaal's eye. Ryder will always come second no matter how committed you end up with him. They also develop a strong bond, a deep friendship and a genuine love that sometimes makes me feel like if Ryder never made Jaal turn his eyes on them, they would always linger on PeeBee, even after he's slightly put off by Asari and Kett being similar. I never really listened to their convos before, but they really do have something between them, even if it doesn't end up romantic if neither are romanced. It's also not like Garrus and Tali. This is deeper because Jaal likes PeeBee because she is free with her emotions like him and they can relate due to their species being so similar that way. It's not a crush, but a mutual attraction. If the Angara didn't have females in their species, I'd say they were written to be the male equivalent of Asari.

Ohhhhhh...man...I was wanting to start a new game and see if they fixed it too, but the completionist in me is so burnt out from restarting the game every patch I see Peebee hurting Jaal if they ever were to get together Not intentionally.

Much rather like thinking of Peebee as kinda nudging Jaal onto Ryder in private when not romanced. It makes her character bearable for me. I mean...she does flirt ceaselessly with Ryder too.  And if you don't choose the one direct flirt, he sends the email anyway, despite not really knowing how Ryder feels about him ( I did that on my 'cannon' playthrough). So it seems he was confiding in someone. :I

If I convince myself that Jaal would rather nag the asari, it'd kinda ruin the romance. And Jaal legit lusting over Peebee while romanced just seems incredibly out of character...even lusting over Peebee and then choosing Ryder. I don't think he would be that loose with his heart.
