Oh yeah we're getting one and the next ME game would not be planned for years since they have to bring out a new game each year. Next year is Anthem, the year after or year after that is DA4, then MEA2. Right now since MEA is finished, except for the team patching and working on the DLC staying behind, the rest are working on other things, which is normal. Anthem is the new focus. Well, as long as we'll get a good DLC and new games, Im happy. Anthem looks good so far, and can't wait the new Dragon Age  Yeah they've been saying they can't talk about future content when asked, so DLC is gonna happen. The next novel coming out will be an introduction to it most likely, same as Uprising was for the main game. |

Got a message back from Ian regarding the Scott x Jaal '' dearest '' email. He doesn't know whether it's intentional or not but will check. So... at least someone knows I guess. Whether we'll get an answer or a fix, who knows. tag me if you get an update on this. Also hi people! |

Unless all of the big DLCs will be post-main quest. True...though I admit I hope they don't go that route.  I really don't see how they can go any other route, at least with the main DLCs. If they have three big DLCs like they did for all their recent games, it is most likely they will be one about the Quarian Ark, one about Meridian, and one about the Benefactor(setting that up more for future games). |

Small update on my Ryder! Also change her chin height to 13 and brow height to 5. She matches default Scott almost perfectly this way, making them look like legit twins!  This is one of the best customizable sara i've seen. She looks like Lara croft. |

I have to say, considering the explanation they gave for Jaal becoming available for Scott it makes me a bit bummed they didn't do the same for Avela making her available to Sarah. Those two would be so cute together. I've noticed that with the two angaran LIs: Avela is like the angaran version of Sarah and Jaal is like the angaran version of Scott, both before they came to Andromeda.

Alright, so I thought I was safe from Peebee after I finished Jaal's LM, met his family, and started the relationship after the kiss. I decided to bring Peebee along on a mission with Jaal, and I still received the conversation between them about seeing if the two races are compatible. I know, I know. Peebee is more or less just trolling, and Jaal does the same later. However, I found it in bad taste literally 52 seconds after I was sucking Jaal's face off.
Also, my "can I romance Reyes too?" Thing never mattered. I did flirt but never got the cave scene, so I think the game noticed I was with Jaal, which I adore. I've romanced Reyes in the past, and I did the same exact stuff. Maybe it was a bug. No biggie cause I have Jaal. I was just curious if the game would let me since it doesn't seem to matter to Peebee and others.

Gamescom starts in one month, the timeframe would fit the average release time for a Bioware DLC perfectly, if they should announce it there. Given the current mood regarding MEA it would probably be best to release it shortly after that, so the haters get no time to gain much momentum.
I haven't been following the marketing for previous titles as closely, have they used events such as this to announce DLCs in the past at all?
I personally would prefer a setting after the ending of the mainquest. If you can play the DLC's storyline earlier it can't have much impact on the rest of the game, or they would have to make changes according to your choices and that's something they tend to avoid. If it is really something like the Quarian Ark it could be largely self-contained, but I'd rather see some of the many dangling plot threads dealt with than get new stuff without much connection to the main game.

There's a dialogue with pb and Ryder, and you can tell her to back off. You can do that constantly, but I don't know if the conversations stop or not after that. |

Maybe I'm just a horndog, but it's honestly kind of important to me, it seems. The fact that there isn't one means that I'm just not willing to do all the tedious stuff prerequisite to actually completing that questline, for the payoff it offers. Again, Jaal's romance was lovely! I'm happy I spent the time I did on it. I'm just a bit disappointed that the kind of romance sidequests I'm apparently really into get relegated to 'minor' content in most games, and wondering if I'll get a romance I'll really dig ever again. Sorry, I don't mean to whine, I just needed to get some of those a-while-post-playing thoughts off my chest. I hope there's a lot more romance content coming in dlcs!  |

I mean, I still appreciate Jaal and I definitely enjoyed his romance, but now that I know the whole story and how the romances play out, I have to admit I'd definitely choose Reyes as my 'canon' option, if only the romance was a little bit more fleshed out and if there was a proper sex scene. Maybe I'm just a horndog, but it's honestly kind of important to me, it seems. The fact that there isn't one means that I'm just not willing to do all the tedious stuff prerequisite to actually completing that questline, for the payoff it offers. Again, Jaal's romance was lovely! I'm happy I spent the time I did on it. I'm just a bit disappointed that the kind of romance sidequests I'm apparently really into get relegated to 'minor' content in most games, and wondering if I'll get a romance I'll really dig ever again. Sorry, I don't mean to whine, I just needed to get some of those a-while-post-playing thoughts off my chest. I hope there's a lot more romance content coming in dlcs! I strongly believe Reyes is tied to the murder of Jien and the Benefactor is hunting him. How I see it is, the Benefactor eliminated Jien (ordering Reyes to do it), so they could not be revealed, and Alec would have been next, but since he died, now Reyes would be the final loose end to tie up, which is why he can't die if you shoot him, and is always hiding in the shadows even after Sloane is dead. I think both Jaal and Liam (who have great instincts) fear for Ryder's safety because they feel something's not right with Reyes. I hope we learn more in a DLC. Tying Reyes into the main plot and having him get a bigger role will make my Reyes/Jaal romance run a lot more interesting! |
