Well life is no less chaotic than it was, but at least I'm not lugging half my apartment up and down between two places now... I'm just commuting a lot every day. *sigh* But I want to be more active!! And get back to my writing - I feel pretty awful for leaving everyone hanging for months. I need a swift inspiration kick!

Ahh, so the current subject is food... I have a very love-hate relationship with food now. But I've pretty much become a fruitarian over the past few months out of necessity (and believe me when I say the circumstances were highly unpleasant). But I'm enjoying my fruit... mainly because it's the only food I can stomach at the moment, other than that I can list on my 10 fingers the foods I eat. I am not miserable. I'm not.

Well I'm glad you don't have to deal with moving furniture anymore, that's never fun. I nearly broke my back moving my grandparents recliner myself last week. In all honesty I've been pretty busy also, life has a habit of getting in the way sometimes, so don't feel awful. I'll be waiting in the shadows for when you post more fic again.....as long as it takes

 But seriously don't stress, even if you never post fic again, it's just nice hearing from you.

Well thankfully there was only a little furniture, but heck, just carrying my computer (which is a work necessity) was a huge hassle, it's extremely heavy and my case for it is a pretty hefty carry-on; I'm still doing that, since I'm commuting and I still need it during the day, but at least it's not accompanied by 6 assorted bags of various sizes + a monstrous cooler full of the only foods I can eat, etc. all of which I was lugging back and forth several times a week. I'd honestly prefer it if we finally found a place closer to work and/or get a means of transportation that would let me come and go as I needed, but for the time being I'm just enjoying the fact that I have one place where I don't have to constantly keep track of the dozen or so things that are vital to my existence, not to mention that we don't have to leave our cat alone in the apartment (we had/have a great arrangement with our neighbors but it's just not the same). Case in point: I think it was the second or third week of staying up here half the time and I was getting ready for bed, I washed my face and changed and all that, I took out my contacts... only to realize my glasses are still in Kona.  It might not sound so bad but my eyesight is really bad and I will get a migraine from not wearing either glasses or contacts for a prolonged time and straining them, so... not cool. That was the first of three days I was spending up here, so I couldn't rest my eyes at all because I had the contacts in almost all the time and that did end up giving me a multi-day headache anyway. Pure nightmare I tell you, and that's just 1 object left at home accidentally. Once it was my medications, another time I didn't have any sweaters and it was, of course, chilly, and so on. My brain is just way to filled with things to do and crazy stuff, I can't keep track of an entire miniature household at all times, it's interesting and all but I was made to nest in one place at a time methinks. Besides, I like having all my things around me in easy reach so to speak.

Awww. Worry not, I shall write again! I mean, I've written parts of the new chapters for both fics and I have notes, I just need... something.  If I could figure out what I can use as a "manual trigger" for motivation this would all be so much easier. Need to keep trying. And talking. Talking about it always helps. My main issue is that I'm overworked and stressed and those are not really great in so far as inspirational fuel is concerned; I've been relaxing with Witcher 3 in my free time and I think it's just what I need now, but that shifts my focus pretty far away from MEA, I need to get back into it.

As to the health thing - well, yeah, this has been going on for over 4 years, it's nothing new and it's not going away anytime soon, only now my symptoms are to the point where I decided to limit myself to a very strict diet that was developed for this; I've been dutifully on it for months, but unfortunately stress is also a factor and I sure have a lot of that in my life recently. Don't get me wrong, I love fruits, it's the only thing I really crave recently (mostly because I've been "burned" by so many things that caused a bad reaction and I've stopped desiring them for it), but there's only so long you can eat a variety of the same 5 or so fruits every single day before you start going crazy. I'm not complaining though (I mean I am, but I'll stop now, haha) because it could be (and has been) much, much worse.
Thank you. It's not easy exactly, but I think the worst part really is all the things I want to eat and can't. On the flipside, I've developed some truly delicious recipes from limited ingredients, unintentionally a lot of them end up being vegetarian dishes, though I still consider myself a meat eater. I do eat meat, just... not a great deal of it and I've become extremely picky about it. Well, I'm picky about all my foods, out of necessity. Right now I'm mourning coffee - I adore coffee - but I think it was a good decision to let it go, less pain overall. Although also now there's a great deal more sleepiness. I mean, I adore tea just as much, but it just doesn't have that same kick.

So, I read an article about the Montreal studio being absorbed, but I really don't know what to trust now; we've heard it both ways so many times and we've gotten assurances about ME's future as well as doomsday prophecies, I feel like I'm just going to wait and see - and maybe contribute to constructive discussions, depending on how much time and energy I have. *sigh* I'm really short on those nowadays.

Anyway, I know not a lot post in this thread anymore but I just wanted to say that I won't be posting for a while. This past week my grandfather has been in and out of the hospital and now has blood clots throughout his body, including one that broke off into his brain. The medication he was on is not dissolving them because the Dr. suspects he might have lung cancer from all his years of smoking, and that it stopped it from working. Basically they said he is dying and he is now on hospice care.

I'm not saying all this for pity. I just wanted to let everyone know that you've all been pretty great and I didn't want anyone to think I was being an ass if I didn't respond to anything. I just don't think I have the stamina to post.
