Hello guys, how are you today, Jaalies? How's the weekend? I've been a bit busy recently so I have close to no idea what was going on in the past 50 pages or so... (you guys, give me a break with the posts per day T-T amount) Any kind souls here willing to update me?  Any summaries? And fear not, dear folks, for I have brought a treat with myself ^-^ There's not much happening tbh. Most of the stuff we discovered or talked about is in the PM chat. Here it's just been silly stuff. yeah it does seem like it... Well, at least we got the hurt-heal game to entertain ourselves I guess  |

This is what waiting does to me - I'm dissecting old footage of Jaal's apearances and getting excited over the most insignificant things. Also, welcome, new person!! So the scene in the 2. trailer, when the angara are leading Ryder at a gunpoint and then we meet Jaal. Idk if y'all have noticed (you probably have), but when Scott is being led by other angara, he has his hands up, but when Jaal comes down to meet him, his hands are down. So Jaal probably told them to stand down. That's nice of him! this kinda hints that he might be pretty accepting of us from the start. And I can't believe it hasn't registered with me before, but I'm pretty sure he has a tiny smile here! For some reason I thought he looked serious af in this moment. First - that's cute, second - he's friendly from the start. I mean, it was obvious that he was friendly, but it could have started on a colder note. I know I'm probably just rediscovering America right now, lmao. |

The facial animation in the trilogy wasn't flawless. I'm playing Horizon ZD right now and it is visually awesome. The facial animation in the game is far from perfect too.

Maybe I have really low standards from having to play some of the newer games on absolute minimum settings, but I really don't care if the facial animations -or visuals in general - aren't flawless. I'll just be happy if I can run MEA at all with my current hardware, lol. I still think that it's the first contact with a human at least for Jaal's group. The way they talk about Scott, how cautious they are about him and how curious Jaal looks, I'd say they've heard about humans, but it's the first time seeing one in person. And I can't help but notice (again) how they keep singling him out. he's absent from the "family picture" in the same trailer, devs are hyping him a lot, his bio is still not out yet, we know the least about him out of all other squadmates etc. |
