If I didn't already play BioWare games, I wouldn't have much reason to be interested in Andromeda at all. Yes, Fallout 4 held out for a long time but when they decided to start marketing the game, they marketed that game. Tons of info, no little trickles and refusal to give out even the base information needed to play the game like PC specs.

I'm not really sure what they're doing here but at this point I just shrug my shoulders at BioWare marketing. It's always been questionable at best.

I'm sure the game will be "ready" by the release date but I predict a lot of bugs. Let's just hope none of them are game-breaking!

I guess we can just hope they're saving everything because the gameplay video we may or may not get is big and awesome? I'll be more solid on that actually happening if devs start teasing us about showing something big later this week like they usually do.

I've found BW's marketing this time around very... strange. With DAI we had quite a nice few bits to sink our teeth from E3 2014 right up until launch (if I remember correctly). But this time they've been so... scarce. Like, I get that they want us to experience the game for ourselves but like many people here have said, with no release of romances etc people are unable to plan their preferred playthrough and instead we'll have to go in blind. And while I don't mind spoilers I don't want to have to dig into a thread or something to find out whether I can romance X Y or Z in case I come across something I don't want to see.

I went a bit off topic what I wanted to say there but with nearly a month until launch and hardly anything to really get us going apart from some trailers and a few gameplay vids, it's kinda worrying. I'm sure they'll release a lot more stuff on the weeks before launch but still.

Wow thanks for describing my exact situation I also bought my PC just in time for DAI. I was normally a console player, but had to make a decision: upgrade to XB1 or get into PC gaming? Well not getting the romances I wanted sealed the deal; I was hopeful mods would come through, and they did (bless all modders). But yep, game immediately crashed when I loaded it. Crashed and froze repeatedly for the next few months. Granted that computer ultimately ended up being faulty, but I had played heavily modded Skyrim and TS4 for a couple months before hand with no ill results at all. Even now, with my replacement PC Dell sent me, DAI still occasionally crashes to desktop. No other game I play does that.

There's a part of me that is actually considering buying an XB1. Just to not have to deal with this. Owning a computer has been quite a heartache. Not sure I feel like dealing with that all over again! (Fortunately my PC is hooked up to my 40 in living room TV so I also use it for Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, Crunchyroll, YouTube, etc. so I am getting my money's worth.)

Also, judging by time of release, seems that 3pm Edmonton time is the norm for info

I believe it was her bio that was released, so like her personal info. Character kits are designed for Cosplayers and artists as a source of detail and a resource for references. Seems they release a bio for a character and then their character kit.
