PC gaming is too expensive and makes me want to bang my head against a wall, I prefer how easy consoles are compared. I play with both though and don't dislike actually playing on PC, it's just that there is no way I'd ever get actual gaming PC. I agree completely. However, it seems this is changing as the years go along and I'm not very happy about that . I remember when games didn't need updates or patches. You'd put them in and play them and knew that they were going to work. Now when I want to play a game I either have to wait for it to install or go online, expect a day-one patch, and (this is the big kicker) dlc's that finish off the game. <- Bioware's been pretty good about this but games like FF15, a friggin' rpg, should not be leaving out story content on the shipped disk. Not everyone has access to the internet at all times. And I'm not even going to touch on the Xbone Sorry for the mini rant, but I have some sadness over the changing gaming landscape. On a positive note, I've actually started playing pc games for the first time two years ago and have been working on the backlog of classic games. There have been some real gems in that extensive library .

I really wish they would hurry up and release PC specs. Just over a month to launch, and I was waiting to upgrade my graphics card until I know for SURE it will do fine with the game. I did all the research on which one I wanted over the holidays, but decided to put off buying it until we knew. My PC did fine with DAI, but I've known for a while I needed an upgrade. Adding more memory too. Not going to spend $250+ on a card before I know specs though. Call me paranoid.

Fingers crossed! Now guys. Serious question J'aal... Do you think we'd be able to take our chosen LIs on dates? Whether they be on the Nexus or other hub worlds? Or if our LI initiates a date? Jaal taking us somewhere romantic Like a walk across a beach on the Angaran homeworld. Something like this; I am a sucker for sh*t like this. The water mirror is so god damn gorgeous.

I keep getting conflicting answers when I try to ask pc gamers this and they get very defensive and arrogant when you point out how expensive it is.

With not even buying "the best" at the time, I usually only upgrade every 4-5 years, and my limit on a complete new comp is $1k(usually ends up being $800-900). Give or take if any parts get borked. Had to replace my graphics card after not as long as it was the cause of DA:I crashing every couple minutes during cutscenes. Much more hardcore PC people will upgrade yearly, I know a couple people that are constantly buying new parts. But it's definitely not necessary. Only if you absolutely always want the absolute best from every single PC game you play.

Depends on what part you are upgrading, and how much you are willing to pay. There is a huge range of parts out there. Graphics cards, motherboards, fans, power supply, memory etc. Huge range of pricing. I had my PC custom built 5 years ago, and this is the first time I've had to upgrade anything on it. I have a giant case (size matters), more than enough cooling, and a more than adequate power supply, so I am good to go for a while on most things.

I don't particularly understand it. So long as people are enjoying the game/s it doesn't matter what platform you choose to play them so long as it suits your needs. I wouldn't be the most technically minded or have steady hands were putting a rig together myself is concerned, but it is something I'm interested in looking in to. Thanks again!

I remember a not-so-wise gentleman tried to convince me that an Apple mac laptop would make a great gaming PC at a tech shop. I had to trail my folks out of there because even though I'm not a PC gamer, even I knew he was talking out of his backside. This was quite a few years ago mind you, but god damn it I had to resist the urge to tell him off. Of course it was one of the most expensive in the shop too. I didn't come up the Quoile in a bubble ffs.

I PC game but also own every console and handheld so I don't judge people and I think it's silly. I haven't built mine before either, my town I grew up in actually had a local small business that would build your computer for you if you brought everything in to them(for a fee)... So there are definitely options you can look into if you wanted to get a custom rig but have a hard time with that. ^^

They're just being mean because you're a dirty console peasant! In all seriousness, hubby went out and bought a PS4 for himself for Christmas. I have never been much for consoles, but if upgrading doesn't happen and my PC doesn't seem like it will handle MEA, I'll just get it for that.

When even the over-200-pages-in-a-month Jaal thread questions your Jaal obsession, you need to take a look at yourself. I'm totally kidding, it's amazing! I hope it means great things for his character and that he's very likable.

Jaal is the most interesting character I've seen so far, but it's really only because he's a new species. So many questions! Can't wait to meet all of the rest of the squad/crew either!

All at the same time, But consoles are better! They actually functi-What? PSN's down again? Well sh*t. I've strictly played consoles for my gaming pleasure while playing the odd game here and there online. I picked up Stardew Valley (I'm a sucker for games like those) so I'm getting a wee bit better with keyboard controls. I did used to play American McGee's Alice on my laptop and that was one hell of a steep learning curve for someone who had only previously played one of the Quake games in primary school. Usually it was flash games or something along those line.

Tbh I'm excited to see how Jaal acts around the other squadmates. On one hand I want him to be kind of shy/aloof because he'll be the only Andromeda-ian (?) on our team (Or will he???). But on the other I kind of want him to be excited and curious; Asking everyone on the team seemingly obvious questions (or obviously inappropriate ones) would be cute/funny

I'm curious to how my friendship with Jaal will go. I am going to build that up first and see how he is with Sara. Being Jaal's buddy is what interests me the most right now. Keep picturing my Scott offering to teach him more about the MW races, and just making up a bunch of stuff to see Jaal get into awkward situations with people on the Nexus.
