I didn't know they were hated? I actually know a lot of people who collect them, the figures are still really cute though. And I myself have a few based off of characters from other games.

They are within doll/figurine collecting circles. Not I guess within more uhh normal people I guess? I forget I follow a lot of doll/customization/figurine blogs and stuff so I exaggerated a bit haha.

Like I said, I collect figurines but I still like them. They are silly and cute. I'd love a full figure of Jaal and other Bioware characters still though.

I wouldn't say it's 'odd' to collect them. Most people I know have collected something in their life, be it comics or cards. So I wouldn't think that collecting cute, stack able figurines is any different.

It's a mix of the cutesy style, which some think is low-quality. As well as the somewhat steep price for said cutesy, low-quality figure. 12-18$ is kinda steep to some.

Speaking of furries, one of my favourite youtube movie reviewers is one. YourMovieSucksDOTorg if you haven't seen his stuff check him out, he's hilarious. He's also a big Mass Effect fan, Garrus fanboy so he's already cool in my books aha. Learned alot of stuff about em due to him talking about the community and conventions he's been too in his gaming commentaries. Knew next to nothing about em before this, was enlightening.

Yeah I'm on the fence about the funko pops..BUT I am def getting that Sara Ryder Mcfarlane statue. But, it comes out way later than the Scott one.

I hope no one thinks I was trying to shame them for liking Funko Pops or say they are lesser for collecting or anything that definitely isn't what I meant. I've just seen a lot of hate for them in the part of the internet I'm in lately and I get hate for liking them or defending them so it was more of just a passing mention from my experiences. I myself collect lots of stuff and don't see anything wrong with liking or collecting Pops! ^^;;



I would be happy for any at all! hah. There are a lot of figmas though... both figmas and nendroids get made of lots of western games and stuff so I think it could be possible. In fact Mass Effect characters would be great for a figma. I'd kill for a Garrus, Tali and Jaal one. ;^;



Haha I didn't even know about those, they are so cute. xD I only have 3 Funko Pops... Princess Bubblegum, Marceline and a Sebastian Michaelis. I've been TRYING to find the Garrus and Tali ones locally to no avail. Maybe I'll just order them online along with that Jaal one.

I have a ridiculous amount of figurines... let's just say two full glass display cases and many more still in boxes because I have no where to put them. I basically collect only my top favorite characters though, and I'm seriously missing having any for my Bioware loves. How can I properly show my love if I don't have a statue of them to worship?? D:
