Jaal Ama Darav (Official Thread)

Yeah, a series of short (I'd imagine 7 mins at most, if we're lucky) gameplay videos each focusing on a specific topic presumably with no more than 2 minutes of uncut gameplay. Oh, joy. 

Sorry if I come off as mean towards the devs but honestly we're like, what, 5 weeks from release? And we still haven't got a proper gameplay video. I would have preferred one 15-20 minute long uncut gameplay footage without commentary or anything, as opposed to a gameplay series that probably won't tell us much about the overall experience of gameplay, rather focusing on specific aspects of gameplay. They can showcase those aspects in one long video and everyone can actually get a feel for the gameplay, then.

Also there is a lot more to gameplay than weapons and abilities - combat is just one part of the game, a part that you can practically ignore depending on your difficulty setting. However apparently a lot of people wanted to see more combat, so I guess it's just me. 

Ofc all of this is my subjective opinion, and kinda off-topic as well so, yeah. Sorry about that. I could be wrong about all this as well, maybe they'll give us like 10 minutes of uncut gameplay with detailed explanations on each ability and new weapon types, etc. which could be interesting. Still, not as interesting as, say, the new crafting system, or the inside of the Tempest, or the new agree/disagree system that's "replacing" the paragon/renegade system, more information on the profile changing thing and how it doesn't make having to choose between specific abilities and thus providing a better more immersive and engaging roleplaying experience by creating a unique character completely meaningless and lets us have all of them and become overpowered, or the new dialogue wheel and what all those new icons mean, or how commanding squadmates is different (or if it is different) in this game, AND LITERALLY ANYTHING OTHER THAN MORE COMBAT 

I'm tired and I'm not happy about having to wait a week for each new "gameplay series" video for something completely useless that does not actually give us any idea of what gameplay will be like when we're playing the game.
