Whoever wrote or designed Jaal, if they ever peek into this threat, they must be very pleased with themselves. 2.5 seconds of trailer, a Funko Pop figurine and 2 snippets of a voice that might be Jaal's aren't much to go by, and people are still excited about him.

I don't know if that's Jaal's voice we hear or not, and it's really not enough of a sample for me to really form an opinion on. All I can say is I REALLY hope he gives good voice. Like Thane, or Garrus, or Solas, or Cullen. I do love me some good voice. I..have a good feeling he will give good voice.  I'm with ya, I would love a new character to put next to Solas, Garrus and Thane on my top sexy voices shelf! I approve highly of that sexy voices shelf  I'm almost alarmed though that it doesn't includes Fenris  (I can't say much about Jaal's voice yet, but I never let go the chance of talking about my favourite males voices, I'm very much into that ) |

The devs call him JAW-l. I write it Jah because Jaw in the UK isn't pronounced the way North Americans pronounce it. I don't even think the sound exists in Standard N. American English. Take a look at this linkI assume the devs say it like SeanMauch or sar27, but I say it like maidofkent. (e.g. in N America, Call and Cawl either rhyme or are close to rhyming. They are not the same sound in the UK)
