Except humans are omnivorous. We can choose now to eat meat or not, but there is no denying that we are a predatory species. And not to bring politics into this, but according to science, processing and eating meat came natural to humans AND it had a hand in helping us evolve into our modern, SciFi videogame-hyped selves. Which begs the theory that you're more likely to see predatory species such as carnivores and omnivores evolve into a state of intelligence like the human has.

Not to rain on the vegetarian evolution idea, but unfortunately with it being a scifi game, I could only see that being a thing if another species got involved and did something super science-y to make it happen. Otherwise the science wouldn't back it up. And considering that the Angarans have forward-facing eyes I'm willing to believe they're also a predatory race. Sorry. :/

I'm thinking around valentine's day, Bioware usually does something quirky like Valentine's cards and such with love interests on them.   

I agree that a Zimbabwean accent does not sound like a Jamaican accent. They're pretty different in fact. However I also don't think the voice in the trailer sounds exactly like a Zimbabwean accent? I admit I might be completely wrong though, I'm not confident in my ability to differentiate between these accents, I doubt I've ever actually heard them (I just did a bit of research basically, and I'm sure it's not enough) so there's that. 

I stand by that statement, though. Javik would be interested in technology from another galaxy, I mean sure, the Protheans were the most advanced species in their cycle but we don't know how advanced Andromeda is in terms of technology. But I can also see how Jaal does sound like he'll be more of an intellectual type. A scholar, perhaps? He doesn't look the type but who knows. I can imagine Jaal being fascinated by something and being cautious and calm but not pessimistic. Then again I'm interpreting two lines of dialogue that we don't even know for sure belongs to the character in question. 

I also agree that similar voices don't mean similar personalities, but the people who pick the voice actors are the same (I'm assuming?) so their vision of what these characters are like could be similar as well, if they heard similar voices and thought "yes, this is the voice of this person, it fits" But of course it's also about acting so. Ahh who knows. I hope you're right, I would love to be wrong about this. And I very well may be. We'll just have to wait and see I guess.

Yeah, you won't be hearing me singing its praises anytime soon. 

I hope so. I've combed over the gameplay trailers and we don't seem to be shooting any of them....

Yes we know that, I was referring to them showing an actual scene of the romance in the trailer.  Actually I think I'd like all of that to be a surprise.  But I do want to see more of what Angarans look like.  Also I really hope they confirm Jaal as a BI LI before launch.  I don't see they wouldn't, but they've been so wonky with marketing this time around...

I have never seen Avatar, never wanted to.  I wouldn't mind the Angaran society being peaceful, but I hope Jaal is a fighter.  Because muscles and skills.  Thane's opening scene is still my favorite companion intro ever.
