I absolutely love the good cop/bad cop scene with those 2. Thane was worried Shep would actually kill the guy lol even as a Paragon I pummeled him! I love how if you have high Renegade you can make him talk right away and Thane says that might be the shortest interrogation in history  I hope we get humor like that in MEA!

The voice in the trailer talking about you being a Pathfinder? That's a female.

I'm getting an agent vibe from Jaal. He could be his people's version of a spectre. Which would be awesome.

Aside from Nihlus, who lasts for one mission, and Kaiden/Ashley (who are still subordinate to Shepard), we haven't had anyone like that on our team.

IF it is an Angara person, it still seems they know about our existence at least. Maybe they already met another pathfinder. We are just the first one of those strange furry creatures calle hoomaan they met.

Maybe they met Daddio already....

Honestly, I kind of want an Aladdin moment with Jaal. As in him showing us some really awesome shit on his planet/elsewhere in the galaxy because he knows this stuff and we're the newcomer. Or him eventually giving us some kind of special artifact/flower/gift unique to Andromeda that, when we do some digging, turns out to be a very rare, hard to find, and highly prized object. Oooh and maybe it turns out that giving it to someone is considered a declaration of love/extreme trust but of course we don't know that until someone else tells us or we ask someone else about it. Because Jaal is being cagey about it and doesn't want to tell us the significance....

Oooh headcanons! Okay. Maybe not a scenario, but I have a feeling Vetra and Jaal would get along? 

Honestly I'm out of headcanons myself. I posted a bunch of them a while ago but I think it's like 15 pages back, so. I like the idea of Ryder looking up to Jaal though? Because he's got that battle scar and all  and Ryder is very inexperienced and new to the whole leadership thing. And Jaal seems older, so maybe he'll be like a mentor? Assure Ryder that he's doing good and maybe give him advice to keep going and just generally be there for him. I'm not even talking about romance, btw. I think Ryder would respect Jaal and eventually Jaal would also respect him, though I feel like it would take a while. I think there'd be a lot of trust issues and tension in the beginning. 

You know, that is a good idea. She's amazing...



...except I prefer to play as characters who step back from the fray a bit such as adepts, which is kind of the opposite of what she does...

I would have hoped for a real first contact too... Full Star Trek mode

Hmm trying to think of more cutesy headcanons for romance got me thinking. What kind of baggage do you think Jaal has? I mean in the trilogy it tended to very much center around family or most of the romance Squaddies, Miranda's father & sister, Thane's son, Tali's father, Jacob's father.............

So I started thinking. Maybe Jaal is quite cold at the beginning. Maybe it gets to a point where you're getting quite close and he starts to realise it and then he pulls away and it's hard to understand why. You thought you had a deep connection? Like everything you did just seemed to click with each other. Maybe it takes almost dying or a really bad combat situation that looks pretty hopeless for him to open up. Maybe he had someone before, or at least was interested? Maybe they died, or led him on only to break his heart and in reality he is just so scared of what's growing between you because he's felt it before and it was so cruelly snuffed out. He's terrified of what you'll say when he tells you, maybe you aren't actually interested in anything deeper, maybe you're just dabbling because of curiosity?

And then you just smile slightly, maybe a little relieved huff when you finally realise why he's been so cold to you. And you just lean against him, you don't say anything but you feel his arms curl around you tightly. Like he's almost scared to let go and he lets out a breath he didn't realise he'd been holding. Zooms out to you both silhouetted against a starscape on the Tempest.
