I think the protheans were already one gendered ? It never made a big deal because there's only one of them living so the characters probably didn't realise that fact ( and players don't care ) but it's hinted, like when Javik doesn't understand what's up with the men and women bathrooms, or something like that. ( Haven't played the campaign in a while. ) That's a theory - or a fact - I've seen around, don't know how deep it goes though. And honestly, I remember it because it made the asaris thinking the protheans were their goddess funny.

If he's anything like Kal'Reegar, Space Gypsy can reach in my pockets any time he wants. 

I want female Quarian, because dem hips.

If you don't like Quarian ladies hips, you're either gay man or straight woman. I don't think there is a third option.

As much as I would love for it to be a Quarian male, it is most likely an Angaran male. I don't mind. I want more new species. I just would have preferred having Quarians over Krogans, who I also like, but not as much as I like Quarians.

Somehow I completely missed any mention of the word "angaran" on the forums, and also didn't see anyone talk about them after being shown in the gameplay video for some reason. Well, now I know.

The gameplay video appeared to showcase part of main mission 4: Hunting the Archon (which is already a cooler name than "Priority: Blah blah blah). I would assume that this Archon is an Andromedan, since we haven't seen that title used for any MW species, and I'd bet it's an important angaran, namely the "Ven Tarev" (spelling?) that Ryder mentioned while talking to Sloane. He's probably needed to secure a peaceful relationship between angarans and MWers, even if they already seem to be getting along.

Well... I'm not saying I'd mind that, to balance things out and all, but an all-male species wouldn't make a whole lot of sense, depending on your definitions. If they bear children, they'd either be considered hermaphroditic or female by current Earth standards. Still, regardless of all that, they could appear and sound "male" when compared to humans.

You might even be on to something, since they're different shades of blue and sort of tentacled. It's honestly a bit odd to choose that design when we already have asari. I'd be okay with them replacing asari though.

Yeah, when someone says one-gendered, but male this time, I'm pretty sure we all mean that they look like males, given that asaris are supposedly... hermaphroditic ? Frankly ,I never listen when they start talking about their gender and reproduction system. ( Super awkward to talk about that with a stranger, really. ) Even though they look 90% like human women. They're just blue with tentacles. (。・_・。) Everyone considers them female.

Actually, now I can see our last teammate being a male andromedan and the gay or bi romance. He would be intriguing brand new and I'm pretty sure it would be much less frown upon than with a human or an alien we're already used to, for players that think a gay dude is less cool than a straight one. He would be introduced that way. ( Well, I say that, but I don't know if people still have a problem with gay men in video games. I didn't hear anything when DA:I came out. )

I was wondering if people had forgotten about her. Don't you think she looks kett ? Especially the weird shaped armor, the glowing blue parts ( that seem to be part of their body ? ) the shoulders... She's a little different, but that could be the female version of their appereance, with less bone plates and a more elegant figure, turian females change a lot from males too. We haven't seen her face and that's a lot of similarity to be a different race :

Yeah, she can be a female Kett because of the similarities that you pointed out. Like you I was wondering why she was not mentioned much/ disscussed in the forums after her appearance in the trailer. She was pretty fast dismissed as "Queen Bee of the Kett" and that was it. Like fialka pointed out she could be another species as well. If she is one of our main atagonists I think it is time for BW to reveal a bit more - there is not that much information about antagonists and the waring factions in Andromeda atm.
