That is exactly what I headcanon! Ryder brought out feelings he feared so he tried to avoid her until she returned his feelings and he realized she was not another Allia.

I guess I can kind of see why they latch onto each other at first or anyone really, both seem very lonely and insecure as hell, but I get what you're saying. I keep them away from each other now until I have a lock when I romance either of them ha. Also, Jaal's emails are flowery and sweet but we do know he writes poetry so he'll probably put a romantic spin on anything.

And while I don't mind a little flirting between squad members, the devs went a little overboard..... But peebs can suck an egg in this case because Jaal got all up in my Ryder's personal space with a devilish grin when they first met and it meant something.

So just realized- if you flirt with Reyes with an romanced Jaal mentioned Cora told him Ryder likes bad boys. Kinda confirms he's asking around about Ryder and how to 'approach' this human from the Mill-kee-way.

I GUESS EVERYONE ON THE TEMPEST KNOWS BUT RYDER. It's kind of....endearing...

Haha yeah that's true! I love how even a non-romanced Jaal is implied to be jealous of Sara with Reyes. It's like Jaal will always have a thing for her even if she's with another. Yet Jaal only seems to show his hidden feelings for her by the time they reach Kadara and meet Reyes. Before that, he sort of pushes her away.

For me the hug should be when he learns of exalted Angara and he's crying.

I must be doing something wrong . I quite often have game related dreams, but never something... interesting. Last time I dreamt about an elaborate theory who must be the Benefactor, even thought of writing it down right after I wake up (does that count as lucid dream, Idk), but when I did wake up, I realised it was all complete bullshit . I don't remember the details anymore, but the logical part of my mind was clearly not involved in concocting this particular theory.
