And ladyconsular, yes I agree! It also helped I think that it was more fleshed out. Like Vetra was my LI in my first playthrough and I love her dearly as a character and I feel like their relationship could have had a lot of potential but the like. Romantic connection...?? Wasn't really there?? I ended up greatly preferring the mountain climbing scene as her friend in my second playthrough, than as her LI, because as her friend it just felt like you 100% have her back always, without wanting anything else from her if that makes sense?! Like not that you forced her into a relationship or anything, just that without any sort of romantic build-up the "hey dude I love you!!1" sorta just came outta nowhere.

I haven't completed my Jaal LI run through yet, but he's real cute ;O;. The Archon can hold his own ass and wait while I arm-wrestle architects and do 900 pointless fetch quests and drive around the rage-inducing empty space of Elaadin.

God I hate Elaadin.

Why is it so big. Why is there so much sand and nothing and rage. I thought nothing could make me more uptight than Kadara and its "can I drive up this cliff or do I need to attempt to jetpack my way somehow". But no. Elaadin. And its cliffs. And sand. And nothing.

I didn't complete this planet on my first run so I have to do it.

DRACK'S BANTER GIVES ME LIFE. He's such a tired old man but he secretly/not so secretly/somewhat possibly accidentally ends up caring a lot about the Tempest crew and it makes me smile 8'). Grow on him like gross, socially awkward fungus. Krogans have always been some of my favorite characters and Drack is no exception! Also he has so many character specific cutscenes, especially if you prioritize Krogan well-being over everything else?? It feels like he gets more than any of the other Tempest crew members, even including the LIs*.

*Disclaimer I've only seen like 2 romances in full/practically in full lmao I hear Peebee and Cora's romantic arcs are also fairly involved but I wouldn't know. But clearly the only real conclusion that can be drawn from this is that Drack is the one true love interest and the two of you go on to bro your way across Heleus, picking bar fights and becoming legend. Kesh disapproves.

And yeah the patched in romance for Scott made me really pleased because I really prefer Scott's VA to Sara's. I can't even tell you why her voice doesn't jive with me, since I generally prefer the female VA over the male ones in practically every other Bioware game I've played. F!Shep is pretty much my everything and I love Jennifer Hale's voice so much I would just marry it. Her. Both. Probably. Maybe. I don't really know where I'm going with this thought, don't look at me. How did I end up here.

Speaking of voices Jaal's is very soothing and I would like to listen to his VA read me textbooks and lull me to sleep. Bioware picks nice VAs in general, actually. I would like all of them to read me bedtime stories.

I'm a big fan of the one in your avatar too! *Q* I really like most of the facial presets of Sis Ryder and there are so many really nice ones floating around in this thread! I think my Sis Ryder is cute too >> and looks 100% unrelated to her poor default baby Bro Ryder because I couldn't get the presets for him to look like anything other than an unflattering potato with eyes 8'). Or he'd look passable in the CC and then look... Horrible as soon as he made any emotion whatsoever hahaha.

Even though poor Potato Ryder is my main. Yikes. Hahahaha... Someone in this family is definitely adopted.

And default Scott is cute!!! It's just sort of hilarious because I am using the Asian looking facial preset for his ... Twin... sister. I got really excited about that facial preset because I am Asian and it's so rare to be represented in character creators like this?! So I was like YEAH MAN I AM SO DOWN FOR THAT. Sorry Scott... I really did try 8'D. It's okay kiddo, I still like you. You're a champ.

Right!! I did think it was super cool that Alec's face would/could change depending on your chosen facial preset. It's a nice touch but I definitely agree that it would've been nice if the mom took after the other sibling a bit as well! Ah well!

This was the reason I did not romance Vetra, even though I intended to initially. I kept hitting on her, but just did not get the impression that she is interested. She was kind of too "oh, sure, ok, whatever" about it

The Jaal/Reyes convo makes me think Jaal always wanted Sara to notice him even if you don't romance him.
