I hosted some bronze games last night just because and I forgot what playing bronze was like. It was actually really fun. Didn't even feel like I had to mash buttons and run around crazy. I just took my time, helped out some newer players by keeping them alive and watching their backs and see how they do. I took my justicar for the majority of the time and felt like I was the protective mama. It's good to relax sometimes.

I used the Avenger on Gold last night. It wasn't as bad as I had feared, but ammo capacity was a problem (never mind that I was also using thermal clip packs to boost damage).
This on a TSol with AP4 ammo, AR3, Assault loadout (more clips please), and with the Marksman RoF boost up nearly constantly by maintaining fire through the cooldown.
Guess it just needed to be calibrated (and all the best gear).

What inspired me to use it was seeing someone else I respect running the Avenger with Cryo ammo on a concussion spamming TSol. I just wanted to see what it could do without combo bursts. I tried the Incendiary loaded Cryo Soldier bit out a while ago, but decided I prefer Incendiary AA, since I can spam throw for much the same effect and have burning warp cheese in a pinch. Add Claymore and it became an instant favourite. |

Guess it just needed to be calibrated (and all the best gear). That's the same way I use Avenger on gold, except I opt for better accuracy in Marksman. Pretty good setup, except for constant need of ammo as you mention. But the ammo problem is nowhere near one with Predator pistol. At the risk of sounding circlejerky, I fire it in bursts against mooks. Double or triple click where the button is shortly held down should take care of a lot of enemies. Geth Engineer is the only other character with whom I would use Avenger (only other AR for him is Mattock as far as I am concerned). |

When my friend first go her Juggernaut she used to love trying to take down Atlas's by just trying to melee them. She'd managed to get one down to just one bar of armour and I took out a cobra missile and boom, dead Atlas. I maintain my innocence to this day and she still brings it up whenever we play. Sometimes I get to thinking that I'm a top tier player after I have a particularly good match, only to be severely corrected a match later.
20 headshots by wave 2, 250k points in a gold pug. Out of gels by wave seven in a simple silver game. I can keep up with some of the best plat players, but I can also get outscored by them while they use uncommon weapons. :/ I must accept the fact that I scrub, I scrub hard.

I get it now. I now have a firm understanding what all the PC players have been saying about the Reegar. I have seen many,many EDI bots over the years on console with incid reegars.....last night I ran into my 1st EDI incid reegar on PC so now I get it. I stood next to her and she 1 clipped a fully shielded atlas in about 2 seconds. It was one of the most ridiculous things I have ever seen in this game. The console reegar does nothing nowhere even close to what I saw last night. BIOWARE fix this shit.

I refuse to revive any of my pugs that use the reegar, especially those using incendiary ammo.
I'm also pretty tired of trying out janky builds cause my pugs just die 24/7 so I've just been spamming TGI particle rifle the past few matches.

I wish there could have been modifiers in ME3MP that would allow a host to prevent the use of some weapons and powers. Reegar, tactical cloak, for example. |

I was the one who found the weekly balance changes thread unlocked on the old forums. I kicked it but asking why it was unlocked and participated in quote pyramiding the ship out of it.
I felt edgy and cool when it happened. Now I just feel slbad about it
