I'm more likely to go down wave 1 than pretty much any other wave. Rush a spawn, go down, decide I'm not going to do that as often for the rest of the game, continue.

I used the Geth Spitfire on the Krogan Shaman Adept. It was actually pretty enjoyable...for about two seconds. The long recharge time just got maddening after Wave 3 or 4.

recently i realized that fairly often i'll wait for pugs to get the last boss on end of the wave to the last bar of life and then i go for the finish off..

I nuke turrets on principle and swarmers for self defence (fun).
One time, being charged by three frenzied swarmers, I shot two with my Widow, then nuked the third.
I also like to kill swarmers with tac scan.
Sometimes I load disruptor ammo onto adepts and vanguards, particularly the ones with cluster grenades.

So I prefer Phasic on my DA if Claymore/Wraith. Nevertheless, I like your style. *** I regularly ragequit on extraction wave or after wave 10 objective is complete. Somehow I find the challenge of excelling in the face of lag fun, enough, to get that far despite numerous WTF's. However, especially if I have been making curry for the pugs, once dinner is served I would rather leave my family than do the damned dishes. |

I can't get used to playing anything else but the Female human adept. I was used to constantly playing EDI and got used to being able to revive myself whenever needed, so now it's really hard to learn the other characters. So far Mexx taught me to play as the female adept and I can barely stay alive and manage her but every other character I try I fail  |

They're so much better and so much faster that there's not much for the mere mortal to do besides stand in the hack circle in objective waves. And it also doesn't teach you as much about the game simply because you don't get to participate as much. You could try: - asking the experts to slow down a bit, perhaps by taking less powerful weapons;
- play in a mixed group, e.g. just one expert and a couple of random pugs.

That's a good idea. Some of them does that and others don't, I think it's because they're too used to their routines and they don't really think about it. Like one of the players (a none bsn'er but ahf'er) he said in a game that he would hold back a little with the kills so I could get more but damn it, he was still running around killing everything lol, it made noooo difference at all |

I don't know how to Novaguard. I've never learnt it. Tried to play platinum with him. I extracted, but the gameplay was like county level. Novaguard is beastly on Gold, Platinum gets really tricky. Definitely doable, but I'll never play that kit on Platinum for my sanity's sake  |
