I can't wait to bang The Illusive Man's daughter

lol the IGN guys pointed this out in a video. Would be nice to have a little Cerberus connection in Andromeda.

It would actually be rather interesting. They've talked about how the Ai had to be outside of the Reaper conflict to create more interesting motivations and backgrounds for characters having- or wanting to leave the Milky Way. Maybe TIM had a daughter and she joined this for reasons and in part to get away from her dad's rep or something else that involves being his daughter.

Love it! I rather doubt there is a connection to TIM, however it would be amazing if there were. That would make for some interesting conversations about her past.

What can I say? I'm a mature person that plays mature BioWare games.

A naming coincidence? In a bioware game? Might as well mark this down as confirmed now.

While I'd like her to be TIM's daughter as a connection to the trilogy, Bioware made it really to obvious. Even her first name, Cora, is a connection to TIM's friend/lover/whatever, Eva Corè. They would've been more secretive if it was the case.
Or maybe they did it for this reason, to make us feel like it won't happen because it's too obvious.

Holy shit I forgot about that.  You know maybe this is the reason they have been keeping her so hush hush to this point.  The chances Jack and her are related I think are sky high right now.  Though I am a bit dubious on 'daughter', female clone like Lin said or some other distant relation like, cousin, niece, jilted lover...seems potentially more likely. 

Agreed, but it would be very little.  Sure, we know the surname is the same, but...

Wouldn't it be more interesting from a character/ story perspective if they got along granted one could say 'yeah if they got along why is she going to Andromeda? But it might be interesting to see TIMs perspective in Andromeda via his daughter/ relation but yet also without all the indoctrination baggage.

Someone who is pretty 'Earth First' but not as extreme about it.  Like how Kelly described Cerberus in ME 2 or how my Fem Shepard was. 

That's why I said lover/friend/whatever. The situation isn't really clear.
Beside, I didn't mean she's her daughter, but TIM might have named Cora after her.

I'd bet my quad on it being the case, and I think it's a fantastic link to the original trilogy.

If you haven't read the first batch of Mass Effect comics with TIM before he was augmented, then get to it...it's fantastico.

See the thing I have with it is that I never wanted Cerberus to continue into the Andromeda Saga but now that "Cerberus"'s leftovers in form of Cora can continue into it that would be perfect IMO. You're bringing parts of the old trilogy and world into the new one but with a clean slate. If it's just Cora then Cerberus will not continue but their legacy will as it slowly changes from "that Cerberus thing" to "Cora's story" and something unique to Andromeda.

The worst thing would be if there were Cerberus scheming everywhere in the new games but if it's just a relic then that's only a good thing.
