They fixed some things and broke the others. Just started the game from the beginning and guess what? I can't see Habitat 7  The window looks like closed, almost completely black Sara's face is way better tho. At least IMO  |

Because the communication on Bioware's part has been plentiful and constant until now, of course. I can understand getting annoyed by always being badgered with similar questions and yes, the gaming community tends to be highly volatile and would probably get on anyone's nerves eventually (considering this is not the only issue people are asking about). But if he didn't want to have to deal with disappointed fans, then I don't know what to tell him. Maybe don't release a game that is obviously and clearly imbalanced in some ways that everyone with even just a plain list of the romances could see? They tried to get away with something and didn't and now he's pouty not everyone trusts them anymore after they have just proven they don't deserve to be trusted to do it right. Amazing. |

He needs to act like it. I hope they tear him apart tbh. A lot of this could have been avoided if they didn't go "What will the straight guys think?", I still find it funny that the people they pandered too were the ones that ripped them apart. Either way I have no sympathy for them since they had 5 years. Hell, Avadon 2, a game made by one guy has an M\M romance. Basically if you're a male character you get the female companion and vice versa, but the developer added a real quick code that we can input to swap it, because he wanted gay people to have a romance option too. I don't know, just the fact that Jeff added that line of code to give gay players the option...and him being the sole developer and writer of the game shows how much the Andromeda team sucks. |

Students talk to me like that all the time; I don't respond with "Maybe I just shouldn't teach you at all; would you prefer that??" Holy fuck, would I get in trouble for talking like that. He needs to control his emotions, and if he can't, he should leave the PR to someone else. And if he finds Twitter difficult to convey his meaning, then perhaps he and the rest of BioWare should use a different format to communicate with fans. |

Do you often get dozens/hundreds of students snarking at you whenever you give them back a test? The two situations aren't comparable. He likely 1) doesn't have direct/sole control of our concerns 2) might not have all the information pertaining to how and when those concerns will be dealt with 3) has to curtail whatever he communicates to company guidelines 4) does not seem to be the PR guy just a dev choosing to interact with fans. If his behavior was consistent (ala Gaider) I might agree that there's an actual issue, until then the occasional frustrated outburst seems human and basic levels of empathy should allow you to recognize that. |
