It would depend on how sensitive you are to toxic players.

I wouldn't consider Overwatch to be all that bad on PC unless you're playing competitive, but then I would wonder what somebody expected when they decided to play the game mode where you're supposed to play to win. In Quick Match I find it to be just fine, though others will claim even that is overly toxic for them.

Of course I also have a lifetime of playing competitive FPS games like Counter-Strike, so I'm just used to the occasional shit talker.

Though if you keep it co-op that tends to keep it the least toxic, especially if the group doesn't need a specific setup to succeed. Part of the reason why some MMOs can get bad is because it was annoying in WoW to explain to the 20th Paladin this week that speccing his character half damage dealer and half tank makes him terrible at both roles. That's a game that requires a pretty strict group dynamic of tanks, healers, and DPS though. If you don't fit into one of those three roles, you aren't really of any use to the group.

When you make it like Mass Effect MP where any combination of characters can succeed, then all you need to worry about is that the average pug is just bad at the game =P

Given that BioWare has multiple studios I don't see it eclipsing anything. Bethesda as a publisher still publishes a decent number of other games that do well, but Bethesda Game Studios only ever develops on Elder Scrolls and Fallout.
