This person has 7 posts on the forum and 5 of them are about (flawed) LGBT demographic percentages. They're either a troll or have an unhealthy obsession with queer people and a need to de-legitimize them. Not worth responding to either way. If the character has a history of at least normal flirting with the opposite sex, then he/she should not be changed. Don't change a character's sexual orientation or even create a new character for the sole purpose of diversity. Jaal is straight. Changing that would ruin his character. Because people can't only be seen flirting with one sex and be attracted to the other. Bisexuals must be hungry for every sentient being in view. |

Pretty much any sentence that begins with "I'm not X but..." should stop right there. Unless it's a glorious non sequitor. "I'm not a doctor, but pickles are delicious." If you want to pull off passive aggressive sarcasm, you need to be more subtle. Otherwise it will just be a simple example of lashing out when you have nothing good to say. Thank you for the tip on lashing out. I will keep it in mind if I ever feel the need to do so.  Nothing wrong with disagreeing with a mod. They're not more important people because they're a mod, and if they think they are, that's a shame. I agree with this. A moderation action is pretty much final (with the admin being the absolute final) but you can disagree with me or any other mod till the cows come home. Of course, we are all subject to the rules while disagreeing. But I think that, if nothing else, has been made clear enough. |
