Huh? Yes he does. He always mentions Rana. I don't think there's a single male that doesn't mention some interest in the opposite/same sex. There's a few females tho. In Mass Effect, Gil Brodie and Steve Cortez don't express interest in women. Gil even rejects Sara. Well they are gay so. I don't think that's what she/he? Was trying to say. |

No he doesn't. It's in a specific dialogue tree on the left hand side so it's optional and not required to progress the romance. I could've sworn he mentioned it during the dinner where you initiate his romance. That and while he's cooped up in the hospital. Nope. Rana is optional dialogue in ME1 only. The only time he mentioned women to me was in ME1 when he said he didn't fancy asari. |

I've done committed mshenko runs of the while trilogy with the ME1 console command romance 10 times. I can tell you there's as much of a case to assume that Kaidan is gay as there is to assume he's straight. A good compromise is to consider him bi or just a playersexual option without a predetermined orientation. It makes no difference in the context of the romance content. Kaidan loves Shepard, any Shepard. |
