I saw the original article and then some were disputing the reliability of the source. Do you guys think this is for real? Will they confirm/deny the accuracy of this? Do you think we'll still get DLC for ME:A or do you think the game/franchise are just fucked?

I don't flirt with anyone I'm not going to romance. I hate that I have no idea, besides prior knowledge, that Gil is gay. Casual gamers would have no idea unless you flirt with him. Same unless I'm playing a flirty character. Plus it's just awkward since so often their your coworkers/subordinates. |

I was like lord please let me have the dialogue option to cuss this woman out. But Ryder was just able to be passive aggressive the whole time.  |

I hope so ME needs to rest for at least a few years, better yet it never be visited again What I'm worried about is that Bioware will shift more towards multi-player stuff and away from RPGs now, though. I know their secret IP is supposed to be. I'm not that attached to ME, specifically, but I'll be disappointed for sure if Bioware stops making the kinds of games I loved them for. |

I mean you could say that about almost everyone in ME:A though I think krogans, turians, and angara look fine though. It's just humans and asari that are a bit weird. Default Scott and Sara look fine too. Even a lot of the krogan have weird coloring that doesnt really fit. Angara look fine but thats mostly because they have two faces, one male, one female, and just repeat those. Same with turians and salarians, its just less noticeable on non human looking faces. |

Do you think we'll still get DLC for ME:A or do you think the game/franchise are just fucked? I liked MEA as a whole, despite its problems. (Default Scott really helped with that, for me.) That said, this is my first ME game, so I don't have nearly the emotional investment in the franchise as some of y'all. But I would like the Andromeda story arcs to continue, including with story DLC. I'm most concerned for the fate of story DLC at the moment. I have no idea what this shuffling around means for that. |

I liked ME:A ok as an action RPG, but it didnt feel like a ME game almost at all. The setting is as much a part of the ME experience as the species and characters are. I wasnt invested in Andromeda. Not even a little bit. The whole galaxy could be consumed by the Scourge and the Lich King with all lives in it lost and I wouldnt really care. |

The author backtracked a bit: the word "downsized" in the title was changed to "scaled down" Right now my salt is strong enough that it makes me want to see ME franchise burns. But deep down, I always love Mass Effect and I am still hoping for a future and better ME game that will do it right. I think a DLC might be possible. I mean ME:A's sale is quite good in itself. |

I love ME. I think Montreal studio bit off more than they could chew on this. I want them to continue with the franchise. They need to look at the criticism and fix it. Let the other studio continue with it. Why does everything need to be open worlds? I played Horizon Zero Dawn and I never once got bored. IMO they did it right. I felt like a chore too much of the time in MEA.

Apparently the game has sold pretty well, so I'm vaguely hopeful that they're just backburnering it while they work on DA4 and whatever their new title is. It's a series that's been too meaningful to me to ever be happy about it dying though. |
