I mean unless he has some weird variant of gaydar, is it not more logical to assume he is always here and just comments when you say something he disagrees with? Like how I have been lurking for months and only just now posted? You've been lurking for months and broke it for this discussion specifically? Why? Lol Boredom mostly, aint got shit else to do. I didn't say that's all you've ever talked about, just that you always appear for that. I think we've gotten sidetracked from GSG accusing him of being gay to just randomly for no reason trying to establish what causes him to show up in the thread. Also as a totally unrelated issue, and just as a question to everyone, even people lurking and not participating in our fun argument, who would you say is the best LGBT romance in video game history? Dorian, since he's the only one I have done a romance with, but he's my second favorite romance in the Dragon Age series. Lol I dislike that two humans are my favorite  . DWARF master race. |

Even if I don't agree with Anders' actions, he has a good story/romance arc. It was probably the best one in DA 2. Agreed. His romance made the decision you need to make about what to do with him at the end of the game all the more impactful. My Hawke was hurt by his actions, so had to cut it off with him at that moment and joined the Templars, even when my Mage Hawke was helping out mages most of the time in Kirkwall. I loved that playthrough, because it felt like a real tragic story. My Hawke was sarcastic most of the game, but became "ruthless" after that. |

I wonder how horrendously offensive it would be if I went around saying that all the gay men in this thread secretly lusted after women I don't know what anyone else had said to you in regards with that, but, ngl, some gay men here probably rely on that impression to keep them safe. |

Dorian is my favorite of all BW's companions. He's fucking great. Same here. However, it's difficult for me to name a favorite same-sex romance because my experience with them is so limited. My experience with video game romance overall is limited. Until recently, my canon plays were also women, since I am one, but I'm not into romancing women. I don't care for any of the DAO followers as LI. I've done both friend and rival romance with Anders, but as a woman; I didn't finish my male Hawke/Anders play. I've done both friend and rival romance with Fenris; the male was the rival, and that was an odd experience; I've determined I prefer the Fenris friendmance, which was my canon lady Hawke. The only other same-sex romance I've done is Gil's, which I really like (the baby thing, while unfortunate, doesn't ruin the character or romance for me; there are other nice moments). I've discovered that I like playing men more, so if I do a canon swap and make my Warden and Hawke male, my final list would be Dorian > Gil > Fenris. Everything I've heard about the Kaidan romance seems really great, and I intend to go for him if I ever get around to playing the MET. |
