Of course. Didn't get the DLC for 3 though, as I was still burned out by the ending. Even with the Extended Cut, I just didn't feel invested anymore. Maybe someday... Yeah, that ending was beyond saving the moment Starchild showed up in his faulty invisibility cloak. Even the Extended Cut had so much wasted potential. But I liked the DLCs for 3 a lot. Citadel was awesome, Leviathan was dark and atmospheric and Omega was pretty fun, plus you got those new abilities. You should try them out when you have time. YMMV, very little of what I saw in Mass Effect 3's DLC peaked my interest. For instance:
While I'm a sucker for a good mystery and horror, Leviathan demystified the Reapers just as bad as the Starchild did. Plus, for supposedly Lovecraftian abominations, the Leviathans themselves were a little to mundane for my liking.
In his novels, Drew Karpyshyn hinted that there was so much more to Omega, from being an abandoned Prothean research facility, to being the Citadel's de facto socio-political opposite number. With all the potential in an Omegan civil war, and how it could shape the Terminus Systems for centuries to come, the writers threw all that away for yet another damn Cerberus plot . I admit I could be reading more into it than what was actually there. But if an amateur like me could think of things like that on the fly, why couldn't Bioware? Nyreen Kandros was cool and all, but I would have liked to able to bring at least one of my own sqadmates to comment on Omega's fate, and she had should have been in the game proper anyway.
With Citadel , there was again too much character interaction that should have been in the main game. Too much forced humor, too much fan service. On a general genre level I've grown weary of clones, especially evil counterpart ones. When contrasting the protagonist, I prefer separate individuals with narrative similarities and differences, rather than the blatantly obvious "Me Am Bizzaro Shepard!" . Plus, Thane's funeral; it seemed sober and all, but why no wake for any of the other fallen?
The worst part for all of them though? Too little actual role playing in an RPG. Too much auto dialogue and assumed motives. What if I didn't trust the Leviathans and didn't want their help? Why couldn't I put someone else in charge of Omega? Why is my character making rookie mistakes just because it's "funny"? Why did I have to borrow Anderson's place and not be able to buy my own?

Haha my first Sara looked like Reyes ex, so I know what you mean. Awkward level +500. Especially if you romance him... While Scott's intentions remain up to the player, I can totally see Reyes being into someone who looks like exactly like him. Narcissism aside, you would be the perfect fall guy in an arrest or fight:
Reyes: (quickly shifted American accent) I'm not Reyes, he is!
Drak: Shoot em' both, only way to be sure.

Hey everyone sorry I've been so inactive, has the patch come out? How is bi-Jaal if it has?? It came out days ago. Scott's got a similar romance to Sara with some decent changes so it's not a copy and paste, and they also improved the Sara/Jaal one too. They did the smart thing and removed the dialogue where he asks if his scar will impress the ladies if either Ryder comments on it also. First bi BW romance that's written specifically for each gender!

The Jaal/Scott romance is amazing! I'm glad the content is for the most part equal between genders. I can't think of anything I really liked more about either path after watching them both-other then the Scott path is better for me personally-cause duh! I am super glad they didn't cut out any of the romantic feel. Makes my heart feel so full!

Just not my thing to play as a guy and romance a guy. I think both were done equally well, and it's not only different due to gender, but they match each Ryder's personality too, so you really feel like it's about Scott or about Sara and not just the exact same with a few "he/she lines altered.

yeah. The differences are nice. I'm pretty sure the mom wants us to have kids still though...i'm not sure if that'll work out in her favor-but she did send that email about how humans procreate. Course she might just be trolling for human pronz for all I know. She seems like a nice lady though, so probably not that.

What are the differences between the m/f version? Copy and paste from this thread: bsn.boards.net/thread/11303/different-scott-sara-romance-spoiler?page=1&scrollTo=743540Some dialogue will change. Emails will be different. Sex scenes are different and ending scenes too. Scott's personality and Sara's are different, so Jaal has a unique romance with each one. Bonus for me as a Sara/Jaal romancer is we get the same improved animated scenes during flirts, so I thought that was awesome! Also, Jaal doesn't ask if his scar impresses the ladies anymore (both Ryders get this now). WARNING! Spoilers for those who want details! Scott and Sara have the exact same flirt lines, but Jaal reacts to them differently, though Scott asked to "hang out" and Sara asks to get to know him better.
First kiss in his room, he caresses Sara's cheek, with Scott he puts his hand on his shoulder I think and the the kiss is altered due to height.
Sara and Jaal hold hands in the waterfall scene, then he picks her up in his arms and twirls her as they fall into the water off-screen. Jaal wraps his arms around Scott from behind and then Scott pulls him into the water. Both oral sex scenes are similar, except Scott is more forceful when pushing Jaal to his lower body.
The ending kiss with Sara has Jaal passionately kissing her, lifting her up, her arms wrapped around his waist as he spins her. With Scott he hugs him, and kisses him a few times.

If I was a mod... I would be in a killing spree on this place, no joking :rage: Still remember that thread about having a black woman as LI, I mean why the fuck not? I remember a comment of a moron saying that if there was only a female human LI she should be white or something like that, because he doesnt fancy black women... Fuck you dude. Wishing for the next game all characters black, east-asian, west-asian, etc, and none white characters. I want salty tears. I found out that I need them to survive. Welp, I found a new salt mine, carry on peeps In other news, tomorrow it's the day! Yeah, I would love a black female LI, which seems like something Bioware doesn't want to do, but it's fine. I love love black love, but I love love mixing of race love too. But it was a comment in that thread that said white is right or something like that. As a black gamer I would love to have a black woman as a love interest because I want my character to be with someone who is like me.

Seems I'm in minority, who absolutely doesn't see Vivienne's attractivity because of her terrible manners.
