The Character Romance thread (Official)

The only Tumblr "leak" is the happy and sad Jaal romance thing that people are taking too seriously. Everything else is them parroting us.

As for balance, everything would be pretty balanced if Jaal was bi and Vetra was a lesbian. It'd be even more balanced if Liam was bi, but I doubt that a lot. In the scenario that all three were real, the lineup would look like this:

Straight men: Cora, Peebee
Gay men: Jaal, Liam
Straight women: Jaal, Liam
Gay women: Peebee, Vetra

I'm not saying this is necessarily what I'd want (it'd be nice if Vetra was bi) but it'd certainly be even. But as I said, I very much doubt bi Liam, unfortunately. Removing that would still make it somewhat balanced, if a crewmate romance for gay men was super involved and good. Fortunately DAI set a precedent for this, so at least there's that? Cullen was one of the most popular romances and he wasn't a companion.

I think my heart skipped a beat. Gay Liam? I'd be so down with that lol. Aw well.

Isn't there a rule against knowingly posting false leaks?

Nothing but what the devs have said is fact. Even the leaks here are our choice to believe, but no one claimed any of it was legit (comparing them with the devs info is what made some seem legit, but nothing is confirmed). It's simply info they were told. If anyone wishes to believe it, that's their choice.

I honestly hope the gay options will be a bi human and a gay alien, if we are following a '' two romances for everyone '' formula.
That said, I hope Jaal is not the gay alien. 

Don't you mean a non-spoilers? be easier to just create a whole andromeda section where people who don't want spoilers can go and hang out. And yeah since it's getting really close to release making entirely separe sections is something that should be looked at right about now.

It's also foolish to add your own personal speculations based on no facts to your proclaimed leak. Like you did with "brownish dude for m/m romance, well who could it be, we heard a male name for 5 seconds in one of the trailer that must be him!". And then we end up half the fanbase convinced he's a major character and a romance with zero proof but it was attatched to you 'leak' and everyone takes it for granted. Someone logs on forums, sees everyone convinced about Reyes gay romance and once they start digging it actually turns out... that there's no reason at all to think that, no one knows if he will even be on screen for more than 5 seconds and it was just you adding personal speculations to a leak (and that is assuming your "leak" or informator is even correct about any brownish dude existing for m/m romance at all).

Well, and please take some salt with this, but the rating change from "partial nudity" to "nudity" could potentially mean that the m/m scenes are more graphic now, or at the very least there is some more male nudity.

Can't really see how anymore female nudity would increase the rating, based on the leaks and speculation. 

So basically maybe Jaal's scene with Scott is equal to Sara's now, I hope.

LOL clearly labels, you know it doesn't work like that and 1 quick glance at the characters section is a proof of that. And I made it up to make my point about taking tumblr posts as granted (and anything else unproven)
