So I found ANOTHER vid of Scott meeting Jaal and this one showed not only his initial meeting and first conversation on the Tempest, but also the follow up conversation as well. And you STILL don't get a chance to flirt with him. They weren't kidding when they said he was difficult to romance. All of the other LI's give you a chance to flirt in the first few conversations. But not Jaal. Fucking Jaal. Is this the same for Sara?? Because if Sara does have the option to flirt...well, there's our answer  I believe so, I remember I read that one of the previewers wanted to flirt with Jaal using Sara and said that he was surprised he could not, and even said that he is wary hard to get or he is male only option, but we know that's not the case so I think he is just hard to get lol |

That's why I said "emotional button looks just like flirt button". Remember "Anders forced me to gay" and DA2 had completely different buttons for everything. Oh geez... What about Gil + Reyes + Scott? That would be hot. Nothing about that in files. I was able to find some strange code for Peebee+Vetra+Sara, but again - not sure if it works. Also looks like love triangles are only possible within your squad and even with bi Jaal Liam is still straight, so no love triangle for gay Scott. So your telling me there's still a chance for a lesbian triangle? |

I'm not digging through audio or subtitles data. All audoextraction methods for frostbite lose data in process and subs are encrypted differently from DA:I. I'm not a freaking hacker, I'm a game developer who isn't even using frostbite at work. I can only understand easy code data that looks not so different from any code. |

Nope. It clearly has a prerequisite for Ryder rejecting Jaal, everybody saw that too. Nothing about pathfinder being male of female. So if you never flirt with Jaal he will never end up with PB? That seems weird He needs rebound to treat his broken heart. |

Have no idea. Peebee also has bits of code pretty close to Suvi's romance, but it is code for Peebee's final romance scene and... don't know. Doesn't look like it includes Suvi. |

Are there any videos of fRyder meeting Jaal and talking to him on the Tempest? If she doesn't get any flirt options either then I think I would be a little relieved at least:-/ Is this the same for Sara?? Because if Sara does have the option to flirt...well, there's our answer I can't find any vids of Sara with full game playthroughs to confirm. But I was thinking the same thing. There are only about a half dozen youtubers with full game playthrough vids and most of them are playing as Scott. And many of them haven't gotten to Jaal yet. So the number is low. Only the 2 that I talked about so far. Yep. You can start to attempt to flirt only at r2-3 stage and to lock romance at 4-5, whatever this can mean. While others allow initial flirting at r0-1 and romance locking at 3. Buuut Vetra is the same about locking romance from what it looks like. Just has earlier flirts. Edit: to clear something up, I'm only talking about flirts that somehow are recognized by game. Vetra's first isn't considered "gamechanger" too. That would jive with something that he says in the second conversation on the Tempest. Something like, "Why should we get to know each other?" And then Scott's like, "Uh, I'll go first. I'm from Earth, the 3rd planet in the Sol System." And Jaal's like, "Thanks......." And when Scott presses him to share about himself, he's like, "We can talk later when we know each other better." So the YouTube method won't help us unless one of them progresses far enough to flirt with Jaal and then posts it today. I'll keep my eye on those just to be safe. |

I'm pretty convinced myself that Jaal is bi- to refer earlier discussion. It's that there is this small doubt of "maybe not" that keeps coming up Thank god it won't take long anymore. In terms of Jaal being difficult to romance yelp. I tend to fuck romances up even easier one's. Thane, Sebastian, yup can't make it happen. I think I need to wait for some kind of romance guide with Jaal with breaking points XD |
