You guys do realize that the voice actors are under an NDA, right? And yet, they still seemed to be sure about their characters being bi (Suvi, Cora). They may not say spoilery things but the way they act gives you a lot. They should simply keep it quiet so there would be no negative consequences. Remember what we learned yesterday. They do extra stuff in case they add more romance stuff later on. |

Well, coders thought Avela was for both Ryders, so it actually doesn't really change anything. Good. I had forgetting who she was for. So if she's for both then Jaal should be for both as well for same options for both genders. Right, so many bi females options  This would make Reyes only one male bi option? Chances are increasing that Jaal should be BI!! |

Jaal is not even listed as a squadmate on the official site lol Plot twist - 90% of code and audio for Jaal actually won't work in-game as he graciously leaves you right after you finish with Aya storyline and bangs you in some vehicle while saying no homo. |

Tom is just a va, under NDA. He wasn't responsible for nothing but voicing the male pc. He probably wants to help, but isn't able. The blame for all of this should be the marketing. Also, the Jaal mystery is fucking ridiculous. There are people playing the whole game and yet we are still in the dark. People seem to avoid talking about it, misdirecting answers etc etc. As if saying straight, gay or bi is the key to understand the universe so they must allow us to discover for ourselves.  |

I'm not certain if anyone is attacking him but yes, that's true. But it really could help if he was more careful in what he responds to. I think all the devs and VA's are sort of guilty of this. I saw some rude tweets after the ladykiller comment, but tbh, he IS one, but Tom meant no harm or hints he's straight. He is even playing Sara himself. flog61 not you. No worries! That's a shame!  Well, I personally don't enjoy having.. okay, this is a reach BUT, having heteronormative crap shot at me when I'm playing the waiting game to know if I spent 80 euros to get rejected lololol. But still, I wouldn't lash out on Tom, that's rude. |

For anyone that's looked at the Reyes code, I was wondering if you noticed if doing his content locks out other romances? I know ashes said he saw that the "lesser" romances off ship have the checks, but I was wondering if Reyes only checks for other romances, or if he counts as blocking out other romances. I've seen a lot of people wondering if they could do the Reyes fling (assuming it is a fling) and still do another romance. I'd be interested to know this too. Because my first Scott is planning on boning the entire galaxy before maybe deciding to settle down with whoever he finds hottest (okay, okay, and whoever has a nice personality and is kind to him or whatever... god). Same for my first Sara. |

I think people should be polite and not attack the VAs or the devs, but I think we need to explain why this sort of marketing isn't alright with us and why their replies are seriously tone deaf. If we don't tell them, they won't know how to improve. Be nice, but yes, I think it's alright to explain that it's not a waiting game for everyone. Just don't be a dick about it.

It's really weird. Basically, it was an extra dialogue option with two people standing next to each other image. I remember a reviewer mentioning the same thing. Apparently when they picked it, Sara hugged Jaal. It wasn't a flirt, it was two people next to each other. Maybe it's because he's a new race? Or could be like a "trust" thing, but that doesn't explain why Scott doesn't have the same option  If I remember correctly, the devs quite some time ago said there was going to be a hug option. I don't know whether it was related to romance, but I got the impression it wasn't necessarily, and more of an extra icon that specifically indicated you could hug someone - be it platonically or otherwise. |

It could be nex_doc, but literally the only character we've found with flirts left is Keri (an Asari) and she's doing a DOCumentary at NEXus, so I will still be shocked if it isn't her. |

There's a chance the Scott voice actor doesn't even know who can romance who, the voice actors aren't always given the full context, and they record lines that don't end up in games and/or are used in DLCs.
Of course they rarely say they have no idea what the hell is going on when they record stuff, that wouldn't sound professional.
