Honestly, all this pessimism and negativity has becomes awfully cliche at this point. I feel no impetus to go back to all of that nervousness and speculation, nor do I want to. Jaal is bi. That's what I'm going to believe. It is the 19 of March in the middle of the afternoon for me, and I no longer need to wait for months anymore. All I have left is a little over a day for the game to come out. Our questions will be answered then. And I have no idea about all of you, but I'm going into this last day of waiting for me with happiness and optimism. If there is no m/m option in the squad? Bioware is going to have a loud release week, I'll tell you that much. But I choose to believe that Jaal is this m/m option, and I'm gonna play this game with excitement and a smile plastered on my face. Now look at the cute puppy to feel better about the release:  |

I wouldn't overreact like this because of the tweet. Iron Bull's voice actor did something similar once and said something about how Bull was a "ladiesman" or something (don't remember the exact wording). Then they revealed that Bull was in fact pansexual, so not just female-only.
I think if the the voice actor is straight it's more likely they'll only mention the m/f part of the character, since it interests them more. It doesn't even need to be intentional, it's just stupid wording so idk..
I'm not too optimistic about Jaal right now tbh, but that tweet doesn't need to mean anything.

Haha yeah but I KNOW the whole ending. Unless they rewrote it and pulled an ME3 to punish us.  But they pulled ME3 on us, why can't they pull ME3-2 on us? :ulikeit: On a side note, this song perfectly describes overall situation about Jaal info. I'm not sure if my laughing out loud and uncontrollably is because of how fitting this is, or I have finally snapped. |

Huh? Isn't it 22 hours? South Korea has it first and I'm pretty sure in unlocks in 22 hours for Korea. Just checked. Isnt it 4pm in South Korea? They're 8 hours a head of me so that should make it 4pm for them, 8am playable for me in Sweden? Nope. Try to close Origin completely, connect to Korean server and launch it again. 22 hours until you can unlock it. Well, 21 hour and 40 minutes now. Korea is GMT+9 and they will get their game exactly at 00:00 21st. |

From what I understand, what Tom said basically means "Asari may not count only as female LIs, but also male LIs if they use male pronouns/in general because they're neither female nor male" [insert "trans Asari" voice clip] (Edit: this) Can someone who knows the lore well have a "can Asari be trans" debate with me? This isn't sarcasm lmao I'm really confused and don't know what to think. I wrote a really long post like 15 minutes ago but deleted it because I edited it like 6 times before realizing - what the fuck is Asari gender anyway? I can't decide if I'm angry or not lmao |

It can be literally anybody who is either located at Nexus docking area, has "doc" thing in their quest or name or just anybody on Nexus. It means it isn't actually starts in early version and that it was coded significantly later. Maybe we meet this character later or maybe something starts with that character later. I've already seen one example of NPC having different devnames in "early" and "rest", so it can be another situation like that. If I can understand shit from their data it is the fact that tons of content from rest overrides early to the point of me not being sure why they still need early. |

If they maybe grew up and/or spend a whole lot of time around male and female humans, like maybe raised by human parents or something, or raised around transgender humans, then I could think that... maybe there could be transgender asari? It's definitely a big stretch for me to think about. Because yes, there should be no male asari if you look at just their culture, they should have no concept of male at all. But an asari who's grown up around human culture might be able to identify with masculinity that they would see in humans versus femininity in humans. This would be an asari who's detached from their own culture. I don't know if I'm making sense. That asari would definitely be treated as female by humans around them, but especially if around transgender female-to-male humans, could think they want to be seen more like men and identify with those transgender ftm humans. Does that make sense at all? I don't know if I'm putting this into words well. |
