A friend under NDA told me that in 10 hours the Embargo should lift, but people have been breaking it all over the place.

Yet me still don't know something so simple...wonder why.

Well, I already said - my posts are accompanied by words "I assume", "maybe" and "not sure" on like constant basis. Because I'm not promising anything. I'm not a miracle worker that can decipher frostbite code at 100% without any actual tools to do it. I looks like that to me. I can provide evidence why it looks like that. But I don't know sometimes what fuckery happens with their code. None of info is 100% unless you see it with your own 2 eyes in your own game. 

Assume every info that looks like 100% to be 90% at max. Datamine. Voicelines. Hearsays. All of it. 

ash even if Jaal turns out to be straight, your digging in the datamining thing make absolutely sense, so don't worry, we are gonna need a damn perfect explanation from the devs if Jaal isn't bi, because the programming stuff should be law in a videogame, it's not some random data or audio clips... Personally I'm super thankful for all your work (and other dataminers), without this our minds would have exploded, literally.

Sex is different from gender:

Asari are an all female race (sex, which means they have a vagina with an uterus, a cloaca like birds or whatever other female reproductive system that allows them to give birth to their daughters).


Genderwise they theoretically shouldn't identify as anything because their society does not have gender roles to which they should adapt (mannerisms, social position, job opportunities...etc), as they are all the same. This said, it doesn't mean they would not all share common traits of mannerisms and identity and from what we have seen, even in the asari homeworld, where the influence of other species should be very limited, all the asarí not only are biologically female and look female, they also identify (pronouns) and act like female members of our species, that makes them women.

At the end of the day, the idiot who wrote the asari lore had to be either drunk or is an ignorant who does not understand the complexities of gender identity vs biological sex. That is why no matter how much they retcon their lore or try to explain them in every game it always sounds like bollocks to so many people. To me personally, the asari are just a misogynistic vision of a male fantasy about what women should be: exotic, magical, bisexual, eternally young, with perfect blue/purple bodies and they even enjoy being go go dancers for the pleasure of everyone (no female turian or krogan gogo dancers with skimpy clothes yet and of course, not males of any species,only asari and female humans) and with an appalling perception and respect for personal space.

Sorry if it sounds like a rant. I was hoping the asari were going to stay in the Milky Way and we could forget about them. I find them stupid as a concept and unoriginal as a design, instead they left behind other races more interesting like quarians, drell, batarians, hanar, elcor, even volus are more interesting than them... so disappointing.

On topic, I can't believe that now Jaal might not be bi... this game is starting to get on my nerves! Lol

So this new update we all got (me just now) did it affect anything? I am NOT looking at those codes anymore.

I still think Jaal is bi based on the datamining evidence. I had hoped it would be confirmed by now though. This has been incredibly frustrating.

My heart wants to say the same as your list. My pessimism is thinking at the ABSOLUTE worst:
Straight Scott: Cora, Peebee, Vetra, Avela, Keri
Gay Scott: Gil, Reyes
Straight Sara: Liam, Jaal, Reyes
Gay Sara: Peebee, Suvi, Keri


I'm 99.9% sure it's not this, but this would be rock bottom for me. Maybe worse if Reyes was somehow only straight.

Wow. Went to get some food and returned to this. Gonna turn on origin and check what happened.

I think Vetra is pretty on lock for Sara now. Lots of evidence for it. They had it in the flirt video, didn't they?
