People said that they have to cut some of Kaidan's romance part for male Shep due to how it makes Shep feminine or something, but does Kaidan putting Shep's hand on his cheek is really wrong? It seems like a common way for couple to express love, guys do it to girls, girls do it to guys. There's nothing gender role about it, I don't know why they remove it. The hand holding walking to the casino as well. I don't know why it's necessary to remove it for maleShep. It seems like every scene that shows males showing affections got removed. If you go back to all of Bioware m/m romance, what they lack is the romantic part. I don't know what's the deal with showing romantic gestures between males that put Bioware off. They have very old-fashioned views of sex, gender, and sexuality. I mean obviously the teams are made up of individuals, but altogether BW can get into the dangerous zone of cliche and old school expectations. |

I think what intrigues me most about Jaal is that this type of character has NEVER been a m/m option. Strong, passionate, but serious. I guess you could say the closest would be Fenris, but the physical different between them is comical. Fenris IS my favorite character, though, so maybe it's not so surprising that I'm so excited about Jaal. Gil has an okay look; I'm not turned off by it or anything, and I haven't met him in the game yet so he might become a favorite! I was not too happy about how he went from 0 to 60 when Scott flirted with him; that's not really my kind of romance, but I know it appeals to others. I don't really care for his voice, either, but that's something that one can easily get past. You've got a bad read on him. If that's true, that's good to know. I guess you don't want to say more for fear of spoiling? So far all I've seen of him is from the flirting video BW put out. |

I don't know if anyone knows how his romance ends, do they? Did I really miss that? I've been combing for Reyes info for weeks. lol What I know.. All I know is there are emails for a breakup, but it doesn't really make it at all clear if you always break up, from what I saw. You have to choose between Reyes and Slaone Kelly in their quest line, though, I know that. He has one of his emails as rom_allied, so there was hope that you could stay together by allying with him. I have no ideas of the particulars of that quest, though. I don't know if he's arguably the good guy or the bad guy in their scenario. I really like Reyes, though. I understand people annoyed by the "promiscuous bisexual trope" and he is for sure that, but I'm totally into those types. I was super disappointed to hear it didn't appear he would be a full romance. Same. I want all the cliche bisexuals in my games tbh. Depraved bisexuals, promiscuous bisexuals, vampire bisexuals, immortal bisexuals, alien bisexuals, emotional bisexuals, passionate bisexuals, resistance fighter bisexuals... wait Resistance Fighter Bisexual is definitely my favorite trope. |

Brother dies. Sam takes over his body. A new LI is born. No real spoiler was posted above.  Is...is that a dramatical murder reference? Shit. Why you had to remind me. I still think this shit was too awful. Part of his own soul that lived in his robo-pet got into his dead twin's body and then they fucked. It was also pretty close to furry. I think I was both laughing uncontrollably and crying from cringe when somebody told me how this goes.

Depending on how things are coded, it's possible that they wouldn't be able to leave in things like the cheek touching without also leaving in some of the stuff that would have been much more questionable. |

sorry, I'm confused, are we back to thinking Jaal is straight? I thought he was confirmed bi from the datamining :/ We know nothing, Jon Snow. We're still on the "data mining code says he's bi" thing, but every little snippet that comes out in public that doesn't confirm it for certain is spun to assume he's straight, has always been straight, and will fight for the rights of straights everywhere forever more. Didn't Dana mention that there are some vidcalls and a nightclub scene with Reyes as well? I believe it was one vidcall and two "night out" scenes. Dana also said Reyes was the only off ship romance Lexi could talk about with you. All the squad and crew + Reyes. Poor Avela and nex_doc(unless they are Lexi). |

I never cared for Ren but that whole route was just....wtf, also because it was the secret unlock route making it look "more canon", also I loved how Sei looked, Ren ruined it.
