That's me right now. The wink won me over pretty fast... and I really love Male Hawke's voice already. Can't beat Jaal for me but maybe he will make a good second male Ryder playthrough... My thoughts exactly. I'm not very hot for Reyes though, but he sounds like one charismatic, smooth motherfucker. Of course, the voice helps haha. Ever since I heard the audio for Reyes, I will shoot the hell out of Sloane just for Reyes.  |

I'm starting to seriously envy my husbando because he played with Sara more than I did (because in the end he wanted some nice customisation options and decided he's gonna to pretend that she's not female) and probably can get to Jaal faster than I will in straight-only scenario. Just thought I'd finally peek out of lurkdom on the eve of the embargo lift and the revelation to end all revelations. I've been lurking since the beginning of the thread and it's been really comforting to see other people toiling away in the salt mines too (gay salt best salt). I appreciated reading everyone else's insights and personal stories ... but mostly the gifs. All the gifs.  There was a lot of emotion and it could get heated, but I think it's because Bioware's romances, particularly their m/m and f/f options, have meant a lot, to a lot of us, in the past. I still remember how important mHawke/Anders's romance was to me when I was struggling with my sexuality, and then for mShep to finally get together with Kaidan in ME3 was just wonderful. If we end up with three options in Andromeda, then all hail our new gay galaxy.  Last of all -- many thanks to the leakers and dataminers for all their effort in shedding some light. I can't believe we're all getting closure soon. |

I always find out who the options are and let him know about the spoilers I pick out of the speculation, so I'm on the front lines here for both of us. lol I think he's digging Reyes the most right now. I would say that he has no taste for not seeing how Jaal is the only possible first choice, but it reflects badly on me in greater context. |

It is kind of crazy that on the eve of embargo dropping, we've got a real possibility of 4 m/m LI's. I mean, it won't be. But it's a possibility and even that is pretty amazing. I mean, we know for sure that we've got Gil and Reyes. Reyes might be a full romance still (unlikely, but possible). And there's fucking Jaal and all of his drama. So that's likely a third option (even if one of them is only a fling). And then there's "nex_doc", who has a 50/50 chance of being another bisexual guy. Even if we only end up with two of the four of them as full romances, it's pretty awesome that we've come far enough that there's a real possibility of having 4 guys. (Let's just ignore the worst case scenario, shall we?)

Nothing really, just a lot of sorrow  60 pages of sorrow in one day? Eek! speaking of Carlysle, who voices him? His voice is very familiar, I'm almost positive he was a Turian in the trilogy. Pavus? Dorian is a turian?  I have been so drained by all this... I really, really can never deal with anything like this ever again. I know... this marketing has been terrible. All of it. It's been such a rollercoaster ride of emotions - hope and hype, worry and disappointment. Just when we think we know something, it changes. Just when I make peace with a design decision I don't like, they reveal another. I really hope DA4 marketing is not like this  I would also like to thank everyone here and all Mass Effect fans in general who were getting a bit anxious about the romance situation for not harrassing and threatening the devs. As heated as it got about romances, the devs never had too literally release a statement telling everyone to chill with the harassment, unlike the people complaining about animations. I definitely need to go back in time and change my choices in real life to be a bi female. Would've been nice to have some huge choice pool. It doesn't bother me if Sara is, because I wasn't going to play Sara, but I'd be alright with it being one of those "sibling differences" that doesn't show up in Scott. To be fair, in the Sara-Suvi flirt scene we're referring to, the awkward line of dialogue confessing her feelings was after selecting an "emotional" option (the other, "logical" option having the label "I like talking about science with you"). It's possible that the other option is the non-awkward flirt option, since this was in the branch of conversation after choosing the flirt option. So we might have the option to be awkward in romance or not. I'm so happy about this. Letting us, at least sometimes, pick different styles of flirting is a huge improvement for romances That scene with Suvi is so cute and awkward and Kallo is just "Kill. Me. The male angara to me look very different and interesting. But the female look too... pretty. Almost uncanny because it's too close to human features but not human. The weird soft roundness of the face and human like nose, it's not alien enough for me. Like they tried really hard to make them look super cute. |
