Nope, they still has to release Sara trailer... Like I said, about over. If they release the Sara trailer before 11pm East Coast, I will be surprised. If they release it at all. I'm gonna take a stab now and say most of the dlc trailers will be Sara only. This will somehow make the unbalanced marketing okay to someone official like-with a big hat.

amoebae † I would absolutely be on board for something like that. Mildly related: I canceled my preorder a few minutes ago. Maybe I'll pick it up if there's a sale and/or some of the more glaring issues are fixed, but as is I can't in good conscience buy and play it on launch. Really hoping we get another AAA space opera RPG in the next ten years; I'd hate it if the original trilogy turned out to be a flash in the pan for the subgenre. It's not a very good game but The Technomancer is a sort-of Mass Effect-esque ARPG in a sci-fi setting. I wouldn't normally recommend it, but considering it's literally not that much buggier or poorly made than Andromeda (lol-ing so hard right) and contains a squad-based M/M romance that is on equal footing with the straight romances, you might want to consider it. See if the romances had been good all around and the characters good I'd had a reason to struggle through the terrible animations and stilted dialogue. But without that being up to snuff? Lol at thinking I'm paying 70 bucks for that shit. I mean stilted dialogue isn't particularly new to this series, ME1 definitely comes to mind, but ME3 had its share of pure cringe as well. The fact that's its DA:I in space, which I did like (possibly even more than Origins, heresy yes I know) plus decent looking combat has me interested enough, as well as some latent interest in the plot. Some of the reviews were mentioning an abundance of meaningless side quests? I don't know if am up for another MMO, that killed DAI replay ability for me.

Well my early access time isn't even up yet so I should play it rather than stress over this. I'm happy the truth is now known even if it's painfully mean the way it's been handled. I just hope they say something heartfelt. They at least should do that much after all the teasing and stringing along. Also sorry if copying the "†" is obnoxious but it's the ultimate fun sarcastic thing to do at this point. For those that are unaware, and I assume this is why others did it, IGN posted a romance guide with only half a clue of what they were even doing. The "†" was put by names where they weren't 100% sure about the romance possibilities yet. The post was edited several times within a span of like ten minutes and for a good while LIAM of all people had "†," which is hilarious since he's one of the first people confirmed straight. That said, if I recall the editor of that post was very responsive and said she'd try to find the truth about Jaal asap while it was going down, and it was in the middle of the night. Be nice. BioFan doesn't mean any harm here. He is one of the biggest fans you'll ever meet, and he's not saying, "suck up and deal." He's saying, "I had fun, I hope you will too." He's also empathizing with us here. Sorry, not trying to whiteknight you BioFan , but I don't want anyone to get snarked at for no good reason. TY I'm also limited by a pretty gray embargo, so sticking on the safe side of things. Good gravy you're still limited by that? Yeesh the modern world of games. Thanks for popping in though regardless. Nope, they still has to release Sara trailer... Like I said, about over. If they release the Sara trailer before 11pm East Coast, I will be surprised. If they release it at all. Edit: The cynical side of me is all "maybe they aren't doing it since they are keeping Sara and teh gayz out of sight to not scare off their straight dude bro demographic. That wasn't a mockery of straight fans or potential players, but what I'm caricaturizing marketing as thinking of them, if marketing is at fault for this nonsense.

On the subject of there being half the content. Are you sure it's specifically just romance content? or total character content in general? Videos of Gil's romance, Cora's, and Peebee's are all online. Gil has nothing compared to what straight gamers get. It just doesn't make sense. ME:A is progressive? By what definition? I'm so gutted by this.

On the subject of there being half the content. Are you sure it's specifically just romance content? or total character content in general? Does it really matter, though? A more fleshed out character is a more fleshed out character and that adds to the romance, whether the extra content is specific to it or not.

Heck, they even named Sara after Sara Ride - 1st American woman in space. And still failed which is unrespectful to Ride tbh

They kinda promised meaningful side-quests. If "scan 50 planets" and "scan 10 animals" and "scan 10 minerals" are meaningful then yep, there are tons of it. Also things like "only Pathfinder can solve it" involving you running from one NPC to another for 1 line of dialogue and then going to some planet to scan some body/rock/FSM and then deciding what you want to do with that information. The only meaningful side-quest so far is about collecting memories. Aaand that's all.

Anyone else feel a little bad preemptively for DA4? Like, they're gonna get scrutinized to hell and back for this fiasco. You get a male dwarf! You get a male werewolf! Everyone gets male dwarves and werewolves! (Etc. etc. etc.) Disclaimer: I haven't played Dragon Age despite owning the trilogy, but I've seen people bring up dwarfs and werewolves so the Oprah meme seemed appropriate. Sorry if that fell flat.

Combat is fun as hell I admit tho.

I actually bought this but never played it! So... it's worth it? nehhh, I mean I'll confess I bought the game because of the romance with Andrew, If I have one word to describe the whole game, it would be ' awkward' I mean you can tell from its usual price tag: 45$, above indie stuffs, but also below AAA stuffs The combat is nice, and decent skill trees, tons of dialogues (and some flirts) with your companions, the quests are not bad either. But everything just screams awkward to me, like you can tell something's a bit clunky, but it's not that serious. And the romance with Andrew, yeah well, not top shelf material, but still nice nonetheless you guys actually have a history during childhood, and the possibility you harbored secret crush on him and all that the writing is good, but don't expect depth like mShenko, it's a medium budget project, don't expect too much That's my impression on Technomancer
