I get really sad when I see people diss designs because they think they don't look "alien" enough. I think the Angaran's look really good. Jaal especially but he will have better textures because I'm pretty sure he's a squaddie. The ladies behind him are probs NPCs you may never see again so they're not going to get as much attention to detail in their features. When designing these guys I know they had physical limitations on what they could do as far as rigging and animation, and I know that they have to be able to work in a shooter style game so I understand why the design may seem simple to some people. That being said they probably started with a concept, a theme or general idea and if this is what they came up with the convey that message then I am more than happy to receive it. There's so much time put into these races that Bioware makes for us to enjoy, it's not just their looks but their culture, mannerisms, all that jazz and I think it's really sad some people just throw it back in their faces when they've seen barely 5 seconds of footage. Seems ungrateful to me a little bit but some people just won't be pleased no matter what. Cant wait for my art book to get here so I can see the creative process they went through to make these guys

...anyone else's dirty mind disappointed that "lips" is not meant as an euphemism?
We don't know. They may have huge cameltoes as well.

This was just a joke to point out that I don't care for the look of this new species. But to answer your question... no.

They remind me of twi'leks from SW which i love! Honestly, I'm not getting the twi'lek comparison. To me, they look like snakes that developed into bipedals. Like the Vipers from XCOM 2 with Quarian legs. EDIT: Just a note that looking at the female Angara I can kind of see the twi'lek similarity.

They look like Ahsoka Tano. I'm sticking with Togruta.
The Caucasian humans look like Thunderbird puppets and Angara females look like Clone Wars animation.

You guys are going to have to catch me up. There are no Quarians in MEA? Of course there are. They're not showing them yet to boost hype in a later stage, because they're DLC or because of their role in the plot (spoilers).

If there are Qurians I expect Geth and Rachni too.

Yeah, I don't think Quarians will be in ME:A. The only way I can see that they would be is in some small capacity on the Nexus. But even that would be a surprise to me.

You guys are going to have to catch me up. There are no Quarians in MEA? Not that we know of. The devs have hedged on answering the question, saying they're not ready to reveal exactly which Milky Ways races made it for the ride. Personally I don't see why not. We have the four Council races plus the Krogan, despite tensions between the Krogan and pretty much everyone else. The Quarians were once a Council race and were involved in some pretty major story lines in the trilogy (unlike the Rachni and other races that get mentioned when we talk of races that likely won't make it in). They're also a fan favorite. I can't see any logical reason to leave them out, even if we won't see them in the quantities we do some of the other aliens. My hope is they're waiting until closer to launch, or leaving it a surprise, because there's a major Quarian character (not a squadmate, necessarily, but someone important) they want to keep under wraps for now. Because at this point leaving us hanging only to go 'nope, sorry, not in this game!' seems a bit cruel and it's just going to piss the Quarian fans off.

Are those tentacles though ? I don't see those thingies separated from the side of the head. On the first gameplay those things look more like a cocker's set of ears. Looks like it on the females to me. They look so much like Twi'lek to me that I can't get that out of my head.

Because at this point leaving us hanging only to go 'nope, sorry, not in this game!' seems a bit cruel and it's just going to piss the Quarian fans off. The way I see it there are three possibilities at the moment: 1. Like you said, there is a major Quarian character, unlikely to be a squad member but possibly a crew member, who they plan on revealing further down the line to fuel hype, Possibly in an initiative briefing or a trailer of some sort. 2. They plan on bringing Quarians in in a DLC of some sort, and don't want to talk about DLC plans yet. 3. They aren't planned to be in but marketing doesn't want them telling us about it because it would cause an upset among some players. I'm hoping it's option 1, but 3. wouldn't surprise me at this point.
