So far on PS3 I've used it a few times on my GI Cerb Harrier VI with the only other thing being barrage gear. This is a great setup for Platinum quick searches in case I end up with pugs I don't like, map I don't like, or if I detect too much lag.

There are only 3 weapons that can actually warrant using explosive ammo at all/or ever......thats the Striker, Graal or Kishock...  |

You know, for some reason this time around I decided to spec Collector Adapt for both slow evolutions on Dark Channel and The Bees instead of faster recharge. And now I'm thinking, if I toss Cryo Ammo on there too... well, how much slower can I make a Brute? |

I use it on the Scorpion because I have so many of it stacking.... It's an additionnal (quite pathetic but hey! Those ammo are such a crap that I consider it as free) small aoe. I also use it on shotguns with melee kits, for which I don't mainly use my gun except for occasionnal shots or bosses. I never found any good use for them to be honest, only "not so terrible" use. |

They have delayed stagger which is useful on the cabal. Prime things poison strike in slice and dice then poison strike out. Again poison blades are good for that as well but you can add some extra stagger if you're just looking for a use for them. I sure as hell wouldn't take them into platinum but gold you're fine with a melee focused cabal using them. Only damn use I've found for them. |

I put them on my Hurricane TSol on Gold. I might "accidentally" hit an enemy behind my target. Also, someone's going to trigger those Praetorian bubbles, so why not me with the explosive effect? But seriously, I have killed more than a few enemies with the explosive damage, and the stagger, should it happen, has a low chance of bailing me out of over-extending myself, since that's how I play the class sometimes in spite of its no escape/mobility. ...I think I want to play the Hurricane TSol with Explosive Ammo on Gold now.  Oh, and any other ammo except Cryo, which goes on my Paladin, is overkill on the Hurricane TSol on Gold. Incendiary for Platinum. Proc fire on shielded mooks with the Acolyte, especially Phantoms, and then detonate with Concussive Shot.  |

This ammo is only BARELY effective in silver.... gold and above it's a complete joke.....  ....I share Clyde's sentiments on this matter. The only way i would use this ammo is if it was configured they way Crashsuit did it a few years ago I believe...whatever he did to it on PC made it more relevant and effective... |
