If you could romance...

I just want to romance Nyreen Kandros 2.0 in MEA (MAKE IT HAPPEN BIOWARE).

I don't have a problem with human romances per se, but there's sometimes the sense that when designing romances for female gamers, the male characters are tailored to be as inoffensive as possible. They're shy, they don't seem to know what to do when your female PC shows interest. Worse, your PC has to be aggressive to the point that it borders on sexual harrassment. It's almost as if the male LI dares express a strong, opposing opinion, he's a threatening presence and it's troubling that I have to do the majority of the pursuit. Reciprocity is a big deal for me; Nothing is a bigger turn off than feeling like the guy is dragging his feet because he doesn't know how to let this crazy broad down gently. I don't mind if I have to start the interest. But I'd love to see moments where he in turn starts checking my character out, gets a little annoyed with her if she's flirting with other guys because he feels like she's leading him on. Now, in Bioware's defense, they DO do that to some extent. Thane will be intrigued, Garrus will kinda flirt with the line about scars driving women wild and Kaidan will say he wants more if you get him whiskey and you're not locked in yet.
Back in ME1, I confess to a slight crush on Garrus because he was written as a character first, and not as a someone who could be romanced. He had his opinions, he had no problem getting resentful at Shepard when denied revenge but he was still respectful in the end.
Kaidan got more assertive in ME2 and ME3. It was believable(in ME3) and still within his character but I was already head over heels for Garrus.
Yes, Garrus was awkward and uncertain. But it made sense given the context of the situation (Who wouldn't be uncertain how to act in a cross species relationship?)
Vega was another character I'd have liked to romance. Someone who felt believable with a military personality but likable. He felt like an actual guy you'd meet with his preferences and opinions.
I guess my point is, whomever you make a romance, please make them a character first and not what you think women want in a romance. My preference may be biased towards turians, but that's just my leaning towards guys with pronounced masculine qualities.

Human. I just prefer it. It's easier to focus just on the romance. My mind comes up with too many strange questions when it comes to dating aliens.

Not picky, though, I'll romance everything the game allows me to.

human, asari and maybe turians. humans make things easy because they're, well... human. asari are interesting, and they're pretty close to looking like humans so
and turians because they look kinda cool. preferably a girl turian (none of the guys really did it for me :-X )

A female Quarian... theyre selfless as a whole... theyre so adorable I just want to hug them and tell them everything will be ok... I could look after them when they get sick... and they have nice hips of course!!!
