Oh yeah, I've watched it, and it increased my longing for Jien-as-antagonist. People think it's gonna be Cora who betrays us, but that's too easy. She's an obvious red herring. Oh yeah, I've watched it, and it increased my longing for Jien-as-antagonist. People think it's gonna be Cora who betrays us, but that's too easy. She's an obvious red herring. You just want Jien leaving you naked and sobbing in a barn on the engineering deck ala Blackwall don't you? Be honest. Hate sex, can't fool me. I have a sneaking suspicion that Jien (and possibly some others who would normally hold leadership roles) gets killed off early on, leaving the Andromeda Initiative in a collective "Oh crap, what do we do now?" situation. I was having the same thoughts as she could be killed in the Nexus Uprising like the council in the krogan uprising(Negotiations are over!) and it allows for that "oh crap" situation. With the Ryder ark maybe showing up late to or after the party that got started by the various pioneers who after getting to the planets they have to live on wanted to have a chat with her. Although, it would seem having a bit more pre-release promotion with her in it(like Alec in the trailers and his final letter) would create more connection with the character giving greater impact to the loss. Looking forward to learning what BioWare has done with this character in book and game either way. |

Their faces are covered, but that doesn't look like Scott to me. Scott and the male in the picture holding the female, hair and eye brows are different. I could be wrong, but I never thought that was Scott.

Tann says she was killed in stasis pod accident caused by the Scourge, BUT! in the second chapter of the book, she was up and alive according to Addison. There are several possibilities...someone is lying, or she just disappeared and Tann assumed she died in the first power surge. There is some hope yet! (clinging to anything that might point to her still being alive ) Edit: Or maybe someone from Nexus team killed or tried to kill Jien, they covered it up, fabricated story she never woke up and that led to Kelly's uprising who sounds like idealist jaded by wars in Council space and this triggered her to turn her back on the Initiative and try to forge her own path (maybe try to take down the corrupt leadership leading to exile of her and people who followed her?) Edit in edit: Okay, apparently Kelly opposed uprising at first...maybe she only found out about Jien thing later and joined them at that point Or maybe I'm just overthinking it all |
