Nice, this thread is back! (Or rather, I'm back to a Shepard-sharing thread, since the last time I watched other people's Sheps was @ official BSN which seems a lifetime ago ) So without further ado, here's my canon Shepard, May. Colonist, Sole Survivor for extra feels, she's about 80% paragon and 20% renegade. She's kind to her friends and destroys her enemies *Snipped for mobile users*
I love how you've kept your Shep's face consistent throughout the trilogy! No offence to the heavily-modded Shep hotties, I love them too but having three entirely different facial appearances is very immersion-breaking for me personally. Minor cosmetic reconstruction I can deal with, not extreme plastic makeover though. Thanks, that sums up what I was going for actually I might be slightly obsessed with consistency, but I love it when I can recognise a character's looks throughout the trilogy. It was a bit tedious to get her to look the same in the third game, because the import from ME2 was terrible and I actually had to tweak her face bones manually in Gibbed. Not fun But eventually worth it when you're looking at that character for 60 hours and it finally looks/feels right. That said, I like it when people change up their characters a bit too, like someone in this thread giving their character grey hair in ME3. Nice to see how people kinda tell a story about their Shepards by posting pictures of them throughout the trilogy.

Well, they tried, but it still doesn't work for me at least Thanks for the Lazarus project link! Happy to hear it worked for your Shepard (I'd love to see pictures of her!). I tried using it a while ago but it didn't work well for my Shepard's face/mouth structure, but I can only recommend people give it a shot. 3 more from Alan Shepard My quarian squaddie Can't Be This Cute!bah. I wanna date her Too bad I doing a Liara run. A spaceknight....for some reasonHow cool is that? Too bad we did not have an open space mission in the trilogy. Even Dead Space 2 has something like that. What mod did you use to give Tali more of a face?

Many thanks! The old "no one knows what Quarians look like under their exosuits" does wear thin after multiple PTs! (Not as much curiosity regarding the volus, however. I always assumed they all looked like Danny DeVito!) The Liara casual outfit is also a good idea. Someone should come up with a mod to outfit the other companions and NPCs in more casual clothing when they visit Shep in Anderson's apartment.

Colonist, Sole Survivor for extra feels, she's about 80% paragon and 20% renegade. She's kind to her friends and destroys her enemies ME1: ME2: ME3: Your Shepard is probably the best female Shepard I have seen. Modded or otherwise. I tried to do a blond Shepard similar to yours on console and I think she turned out nicely in ME1 and ME2. But speaking of immersion breaking, she looked COMPLETELY different in ME3. She turned into a black girl and none of the features were the same at all. I also like that your characters hair in ME3 actually looks like blond hair. On the console versions, the blond hair looks like crayon. It just looks so bad. As attractive as your Shepard is, I actually feel she is immersion breaking just based on how she looks. I cannot imagine a hardened battle warrior saving the galaxy looking like a fashion model. I know this is a game, but when I was in the military, I can guarantee you no women looked like this. She'd be very distracting on the battlefield. Regardless, its a silly complaint and it sort of makes me wish I played on PC instead of on console sometimes. I'd like to see how my male and female Shepards can look with the right mods. If anyone is interested, here was my blond Shepard that I totally loved but had to abandon because she looked so different in ME3 and no amount of work could really save it. The final image was the best I could do.

I also noticed that you have a scar on him in ME1, but by ME2 and ME3 its totally gone. I did that once as well. I had an injury above my right eye and I wanted to put a scar on my broshep's eye. But by ME2 it didn't import over.

Yeah, I picked the more narrow eyes this time because I like to change things up, but I actually liked it Yes, unfortunately the scars are gone in ME2, which does make sense considering they rebuilt Shepard, so they got some brand new skin as well, eh Still a shame we can't add the scars anymore because I do like them. Especially considering that Shepard claims in the Citadel DLC during the clone fight that they have their scars from Feros, Noveria, etc.

I like having my Shepard look a bit unique from the npc's in the game (and I hate some of the vanilla hairstyles), which is why I've been using hair mods and never looked back. As to the "immersion breaking" stuff: in real life, female soldiers can be pretty too. If you personally feel that's unrealistic, that's fine. But here are some real life examples to show you otherwise: So yeah, I love it when a woman can be both pretty and able to kick your ass I know my pics of May Shepard can be a bit "glamorous" so to speak, but I think I managed to not make her look like a "barbie plays soldier" model Here are some more badass pics of the Commander

And you can add the scars back in ME3, but that just looks off when they weren't around in ME2. But someone who created a Shepard that was heavily scarred might not like that his face is completely scar free. My jerk face Shepard has a giant scar across his face and I guess I'll just have to make due with the Renegade scars I guess. On a side note, I had no idea where your signature ("buggy") came from. I just found out over the weekend.

But I made a similar looking Shepard. I posted a video of her while back on this thread, but only with black hair. She fared noticeably better in ME3. And I think I may love her more because I role played her as a renegon hardass softie instead of a good two shoes like I did with the blond. I also didn't say that attractive women don't exist in the armed forces. I said from my experience in the military I saw none and I did do some traveling. And while those women are attractive, they don't really look as "dolled" up as your Commander. I agree she doesn't look like a barbie soldier or anything. But she looks like a good look actress playing a Commander in a movie if that makes any sense. Still I'm not complaining. She is really beautiful in those extra images you posted. Kaidan is a very lucky man.

It's also a reason I rarely use a scar in ME1 at all (for this Shepard I wanted one because he survived Akuze and got the scar from back then). Yeah, if playing a Renegade I'd consider to give them a scar in ME1 and just make do with Renegade scars in ME2 and 3 as well, it's at least an ok replacement. Hehe, James and Javik are great together, that was a run I enjoyed so much

And isn't there an option for scars in the facial structure area? Or something? I could be wrong as I rarely put scars on my Shepard. Actually, I feel the big shame is how poorly ME3 imports female Shepard. Many times they don't even look like the same person. Male Shepards seem to fare a bit better. I'll take a missing scar over a completely incorrect looking Shepard any day. Yeah, I always used to take Garrus on that mission so I never heard it. But I seem to like Garrus less and less the more I replay the series so I ditched him this time. Glad I did. I actually prefer EDI and Javik in that mission myself. And I think Kaidan and Javik are amazing squadmates with any type of Shepard. Just utter destruction.

You can have the scars back in ME3? How so? Even on PS3? I really agree that it's a shame you cannot carry over the scars through all 3 games. I had two Shepards that looked so wrong when imported, so nowadays I start a Shepard in ME3 and once I have the look I like, I change the code into ME1 sliders, that works pretty nice every time. I don't think I ever had Kaidan and Javik, but I like trying out different constellations in each new run. So many combinations to choose from! And some of them really are pure gold. James and Javik were my favourite so far, but I also can't wait to someday pair EDI with Javik. It must be great

I've had that happen as well, but I think the engine in ME3 is too different for it to resemble what you originally had in ME1 and ME2. For my blond female, I was very disappointed and just quit the run. Well, I think Kaidan in general is one of the most well rounded characters for squadmates in the game. He can handle anything as his powers are great. But I love having Kaidan and Javik backing me if I'm a Sentinel or a Vanguard. I'd recommend giving him a try. And no spoilers, but Javik/EDI have a more reflective nature rather than an out right humorous one. It makes them both likable still though.
